Why do women go to clubs?

I see tons of women who go in groups of 4 and then dance with themselves all night long while rejecting any guy that tries to join in. If so, why would they spend 5 hrs doing make up?

Also, any bartenders here wanna estimate what the hookup success rate of all people in clubs?

Well, unlike men, women do tend to enjoy just dancing with each other.
They'll just hold out for a guy that meets their standards.
A good looking guy (in their mind) will not have many problems picking one off, at least for a dance.

True of many, but wanting attention and insecurity are not one in the same. Just look at nature - one sex is always the show off in the look department.

It's just set up that way to get laid by the best, but women are pickier than men when it comes to that part.

One of my friends is a club regular, she goes to get drunk and get the attention her dad never gave her. She hooks up with a lot of guys at the clubs.

The club scene down here is also way into ******* and heroine so a lot of people go to get high/drunk and then hook up. I'd say the rate of hooking up is pretty high - that is the whole point of going IMO. It's quite different from the bar scene.

It's basically the one place they can do 'slutty' things and not be a 'slut'. Making out, etc. at clubs "doesn't count"; it's just a club thing. They can basically release their sexual and other desires that society doesn't really let them do otherwise (without being an outcast). Also, for the chance of seeing/getting with someone famous.

Oh yea, and it's fun regardless of being female.
