You guys do know that a foam roller has nothing to do with squats, or even the bar, right?

Foam rolling = win. Except using a tennis ball works equally well, without having to buy some stupid piece of overpriced 'equipment' and having it lying around.
For a belt, buy an APT, call it a day.forum rule

Lever belts are amazing, I have no idea where I would be without my pink one (:
As mentioned, you could use PVC pipe instead of blowing about 35 bucks for a hard foam roller.Pure intention juxtaposed will set two lovers souls in motion

this x10
bought my belt from apt about a year ago and i love it. Much better support than youll get with just a standard weight lifting belt. Inzer also makes very good belts.
This is the exact one i have - http://www.prowriststraps.com/inc/sdetail/184030
Stop typing "the" like "teh"
Yes, the benefits are the same. The OVC pipe probably works a little better since its harder, but itll probably also hurt more.
in case you didnt know, foam rolling hurts a ****load, although its a good pain"Every great achievement was once considered impossible."

My belt owns your belt, seriously.
OP, get a lever belt. They're definitely worth the money and better then any other belt I've used.

Except yours is an Inzer, and they suck as a company. Worst customer service around, and Toro makes better lever belts.
It still probably performs just fine, but I won't ever recommend Inzer to anyone.
*EDIT*
Just noticed the buckle on the black one above happens to say 'Toro'. Win.forum rule

All looks good, i heard inzer was top...
Out of these ones which is best?
http://www.titansupport.com/products/toro-belts
anyways these are similar to the inzer belt, but i was just thinking they seem to have a small diameter in width, would it be enough to support my lower back completly. cos i get serious problems in my back, thats why i was think schiek cos there much larger at teh back and front....
and about foam roller, i may try pvc pipe and put some sort of padding around it...are the foam rollers hard as pvc or are they weak under pressure?
thanks so far!

APT does make a lever belt...it just happens to cost 50% more than their competitors. Based on the equipment I've used from them and their competitors, it's probably 60% better.
Inzer is "top" because they hand out sponsorships like candy on Halloween.
You don't want to use the belt directly to support your lower back - that's not its purpose. The purpose of a belt is to help create IAP (intra-abdominal pressure) which supports the spine from within. The Schiek belt, and in fact all belts that are variable height, really suck, and can cause a reliance on the rigidity of the belt for support instead of proper use of the core.
Buy a standard powerlifting belt and call it a day. You don't really need a lever belt, but feel free to get one.
I'd rank them:
APT
Toro

Its cheaper to get a regular single prong belt
For your use, a single prong would be fine
If youve got the money though, just get a lever. Its easier to take on and off and you can get better compressions with it. Its harder to adjust though. So say if you want only a little support for your warm-up sets but a lot for your work sets youd need to get a screwdriver and advjust the lever belt with that, which is unreasonable to do at the gym."Every great achievement was once considered impossible."

o right i understand, yeh, cos another main purpose i need it for is when im doing seated shoulder press the back always seems to give in and i end up using teh worng muscles cos the back is unsupported. thats how i pulled teh rhomboid and erector spinae. so that is the main main thing..
and one other thing,
what size should i get cos the waist tht i wear with jeans is 30-31 inches, so what waist would i need the belt?
thanks!!!!!!

Keep in mind that using a belt is holding hiding the underlying problem, weak core muscles. After you start using a belt you need to start doing heavier core training, weighted situps, good mornings etc.
You wear the belt at a different spot than your jeans. You need to measure around your bellybutton, because thats where your belt will sit"Every great achievement was once considered impossible."
