most pros just take a razor to their scalp and it fixes the male pattern baldness
I wish it lasted, forever.

Extra testosterone levels cause baldness I think. Can I be right? I remember something like that. It is hard to prevent baldness. it is one of the problems most of us face in the latter part of our life.

Genetics play a huge role just like everything else. I think the test is harsher on the hair of some as opposed to others- just like otherwise non-bodybuilder, natural guys. You see a guy in his early 20s going bald and then a 70 year-old with a perfect mane. Both probably had around the same level of natural test in their systems at the same ages, yet some go bald a lot sooner due to genetics.

I also think some pro's shave their heads to make them look smaller and the rest of their body larger by comparison.

Some go bald and some don't lose any hair. If you are not going to get male pattern baldness, then using steroids won't make it occur. If you are going to get it eventually, using steroids will cause it to happen quicker than it normally would have happened. Look at Jay cutler as an example, he didn't lose any hair because he is not genetically predisposed to it. Supposedly if your mom's dad and brothers have their hair, it is likely that you will never go bald. Lucky for me, my grandpa on that side has all his hair, and his brothers all have their hair as well. So far, I haven't started losing any. If you look at your pillow case, you can see whether or not you are losing your hair or not. For me, even after a week or two of not washing the pillow case, sometimes there isn't a single hair on it.. Using those anti hair loss drugs can work, but they also cause a lot of side effects like loss of libido, among other things that I cannot recall.
