You know bro that's interesting because just this morning I was watching videos of the HPI racing Savage Flux and decided i wanted one. So being the badass that i am, I made a strong impulse buy today.
Here's what I got...
The truck - HPI Savage Flux Brushless INSANELY FAST - $600
The batteries - MaxAmps Lipo 6000XL 11.1V specifically for my truck. Bottom line the BEST BATTERIES YOU CAN GET - $330 for a pair
Battery Charger/Balancer/Power Supply - $415
Also got some random ****, extra gears and shock shafts, Rechargeable AA's for transmitter and a programming kit for the brushless motor so i can tune my power delivery and braking etc.
Should all be here some time next week. Im fcking excited bros.

I've got a .48 nitro Savage with hi-torque servo's, reverse, and rotostart fitted in the loft, havent run it in years.
I've had;
Duratrax Evader
Tamiya Fighter Buggy
HPI MT-2 (loved that little truck)
Schumacher XTR-21
Losi Mini T
Been thinking of getting back into it lately, not sure if I want the hassle of Nitro again though...1/5th petrol would be niceMFC

Brah buy a sim first. Comes with full size controller that plugs into usb and you fly on the computer. I thought I was going to get a helicopter until someone who does it told me about a sim first to see if you really want to do it. Much cheaper $150-200 vs $1000-2000. Plus when you crash you dont have to fix it just reset and start flying again. But it is hard as **** I gave up after about 2-3 hours of still not being able to even hover.

With the batteries I got, i will have 36 minute run times and they are the MAX amount of amps/volts the ESC/Motor can handle so the power is just going to be pretty much unmanageable. Truck will top out at around 60mph and will pull the front wheels up at pretty much any speed below 50mph when u grab a fist full of throttle.
It was either the batteries I got or ones that I could get an hour long run time out of but only 40mph top speed and less overall punch. Id rather have the performance. Plus I usually dont have hours and hours of free time so i dont need super long run times anyways.
