Not losing weight anymore, gaining some!

Okay guys so i went from 176 pounds to 149, gradually, in a few months, i have a very good and healthy diet (caloric deficit is a priority for me everyday).

I do hiit 3 times a week, and recently i've begun bodybuilding (lifting weights).

My diet is high protein and low carb one. No sugar/junk food or that sort of crap. Complex carbs/fiber, multis, 120g of protein everyday, lots of green veggies, fish, chicken etc.

I have noticed that for two weeks i have not been losing weight, but gaining some, it's bad for me because i am trying to lose the last pinch of fat on my belly to have the perfect six pack!

Can it be possible i am still losing FAT but gaining muscle which increases my weight?

Thank you for your kind answers and good advices!!

p.s. as for those ****s that tell me over and over that i look skinny at my height and weight, well you're wrong, i am big boned and don't look one bit skinny!! Actually my belly is covered with a layer of fat so please **** off and let knowledgable people answer, thank you.

It's a possibility that muscle gains have occured but have monitored ur calorie intake carefully? U may have to lower ur cals a bit more since ur body has adapted to the ones u been giving it.

Ah yes mate, you may be right! I just see my weight slowly increasing on the scale, yet i notice fat loss on my belly area. I will lower my caloric intake.

That´s exactly what I was going to say.

You have to recalculate your maintenance every 3/4 weeks when you are losing weight.

    Good Luck mate!
