Lightbulb Some interesting graphs, why were fat and a question in return....

    On another note:
    Protein bars or pork scratchings:
    ave pro bar:
    250kcal
    20g protein
    30g carbs
    5g fat

    Pork scratchings i just had:
    212kcal
    17g protein
    1g carbs
    15g fat
    (http://www.mrporky.co.uk/)
Fair enough were lacking carbs on the scratchings but they are so satisfying, slow digesting, whereas pro bars are usually whey so not so slow.
    Opinions
Plus we all know saturated fat raises testosterone, plus were talking 1 rarely, rarely 2 packs of these a day.
    Ace keto snack IMO

What question do you have in return?
Abercrombie's not about helping people, No, Abercrombie's about about playing rugby in a fresh green field with your bset buddy, and both of you forgot your clothes. Abercrombie's about hittin the slopes on a crisp winter day, then going back to roaring fire and having group sex. Abercrombie's about doing laps at the old pool house with your bros from the swim team, and shaving each other's legs for speed, and each other's nads for fun.

And these graphs are too presumptuous. There's too much a leap from the correlation to causation here.

Simply because one good is cheaper than the other does not mean people will continually buy more of it than the other. If a consumer's surplus is greater with one good than another, then they will choose the good with this greater surplus.

obesity is far too complex to blame entirely on one demon food. Although it may make soundbite sense to avoid soft drinks because they have become cheaper over the years and therefore have resulted in overconsumption, it is far from accurate to blame. This is the exact same illogical outcome that has resulted in graphs like this:

I know this gets a bit more complicated, but stick with me here.

A review of the USDA's data (adjusted for spoilage and other waste) for the average daily per capita calorie consumption shows that the average caloric intake in 1970 was 2,168 but in 2008 it was 2,673, which is an increase in average daily caloric intake of 505 calories.

IMO it doesn't matter WHICH food or foods are to blame for this result, the outcome is the same...there is now more food going in than there used to be.

When you combine this aspect of the CALORIES IN part of the equation with the reduced CALORIES OUT that has been taking place, you have a recipe for disaster. Yes, Americans have exhibited a 10% decrease in physical activity in the last two decades. While I don't have the stats on OP's native land, I suspect the same ballpark reduction in physical activity is true in England as well.

All good stuff above, and I just want to add one thing:

99999/100000 times, the only reason you're obese is because YOU aren't taking the steps in order to get yourself in shape. You can't blame it on other factors like food or how cheap things are.

Shirking responsibility to foods and the lifestyle of where you live is running away from the problem.
