I don't play to lose.
Here's my calculation:
I figure I need to pull close to 400 above my bodyweight to win, which for me is about 670 right now. BUT, if I lose 2 lbs a week between now and December 31, that's rougly 50 lbs. So, that puts me at a weight of 220, which means, I would have to pull about 620, roughly 300 lbs. more than I can pull now. That translates to an increase in roughly 12 lbs per week.
Lose 2 lbs. per week.
Increase Deadlifts by 12lbs. per week.
I win.

You guys know I am kidding right? There's not a chance in hell I could win this. In fact, if I don't come in dead last, it's probably because someone got injured. I just like trash talking. It's fun.
Edit: Also, I wanted to post a picture of cake. It's NOT a lie!Last edited by DougTheCoder; 05-22-2010 at 12:56 PM. Reason: Cake

Just an FYI, but if you do so you will have pulled one of the heaviest raw Masters I (40-44) deadlifts in American history:

The 275lb class raw record is 650lbs......just sayin'"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure"
