Just to illustrate how serious I am - not like I need to prove anything to anyone anyway - here is a Fat Loss Log from last summer (Click Here)
I started that out of hitting rock bottom emotionally and getting fed up with my fat ass, well I wasn't a fat ass, but I was out of shape for my age and height.
I did it non-stop, and I was 100% committed, but then I slacked off.
I am starting a PHASE TWO which I guarantee I will not quit until I get the results that I want.
I am not so much numbers-oriented in this journey, but more of being satisfied with how I will look visually. For anybody who has followed my log from last year, you'll know that I was committed. When I said I gave my word, I followed through.
This is no different.
When I say 90 Day Cut, It is...a 90 Day CUT. No other way around it.
The breakdown looks like this.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------May 17th - June 17th: 32 Day Cardio Cut - CONSECUTIVE
I'm keeping all cardio sessions to 30 Minutes instead of 10 minute increases each week.
June 20 - July 20: 5 Constant Days per Week Cardio.
Cardio Sessions are 30 minutes
July 23 - August 23: Cardio 5 Days per Week; every other day.
I did not weigh myself since starting this monday, nor did I take any pics yet, but I'll get that ready sometime this week. Most likely tomorrow.

May - June: 32 Consecutive Day Cut
Day 3: May 19, 2010
Brunch: Two fried eggs w/ two thin slices of bacon (I'm aware this isn't "healthy" per se but I'm not making it regular breakfast anyway)
6:30pm: Gym
Cardio: 30 Minutes | Arc Trainer |
Calories Burned: 475 - I can feel getting burned out, I'm not eating enough calories, 15 calories drop in burn. I was feeling so tired after that, I guess the sugars levels dropped? Any recommendations when that happens?
7:30pm: Subway footlong Italian BMT w/ water
8pm: tea w/ two teaspoons of sugar (couldn't resist, dammit)
10pm: bottle of water
afterthoughts: Hmm, I'm actually not feeling hungry right now...I guess in an hour or so I will.
I weighed myself today, BUT I did it after cardio exercise, I totally forgot to do it til after. For what it's worth, much to my surprise I weigh 168lbs??Last edited by -=Spitfire=-; 05-19-2010 at 07:41 PM.

When I feel like I'm getting burned out on a certain cardio machine, usually the treadmill I'll switch the resistance so it's super hard for exactly 1 minute then switch it back to my normal resistance. It works for me, I'm better at getting "second winds" then endurance same speed. I do it about 4 times per 30 minutes, usually 5, 10, 15, 25 min marks.
Or I'll switch to the bike and do 10-15min extra then I planned, but you only want to do 30 minutes. My cardio sessions are usually 60-75min 5-6x a week.Last edited by metroins; 05-19-2010 at 08:38 PM.

Naw, the current cardio machine is fine, that's the same one I used for my first cut phase. I was getting burned out cause I didn't eat a lot, and was running on low energy. I'm doing it only 30 minutes for the first month, and probably for the rest of them. I did hour long sessions split into 30 minutes back in the first phase. Those actually got easier as I progressed in my first month. This time I'm keeping it steady, the only thing I'm going to increase is the resistance.
I'm on level 7 now, and that's one level up from phase one. Instead of increasing 10 minutes each week, I'm going to increase the level each week. It's gonna ****ing kill me though, but hey it all comes down to; do I want this ****ing flab on my stomach and all over the body? or do I want the carved foundations I have beneath it all?
the latter.

Once again I had log in issues for quite a few days. It's fixed, so I'll update this regularly.
The past days that I haven't updated, in a nutshell I ate healthy (dur) drank plenty of water, and mostly I just hopped on a bike and spin for 30-some minutes. I would urge people to get cheap bicycles for $80-some bucks at Wal Mart, it's such a great investment. You get fresh air, sun, and exercise.
I actually WANT to get out of the house because I can go anywhere I want to, and if I have enough energy in me
I had an occasional cheat day where I ate whatever I wanted (including ice cream).
And in a few hours when the sun goes down I'll hop on a bike again and cycle for 30-40 minutes around the area.
