Is 1,3 Dimethylamylamine as effective as Ephedra for fat loss?

    200 mg Caffeine & 25 mg of 1,3 3x/day

    vs.

200 mg Caffeine & 25 mg of Ephedrine HCl 3x/day

Has anyone here used caffeine + 1,3 to assist with fat loss? Can you compare it to EC stack?

well it control hunger alot but its properties is different to that of ephedrine specially since ephedrine is a beta2 agonist and 1,3 has no affinity to the b2 receptor but still there is not enough research on 1,3 dim. and personally i dont like being some ones guinea pig.

its been said to not have the smae fat burning properties that ephedrine has. there is a thread where this was discussed in the supp science section. although, i think that thread was about synephrine and the discussion lead that way.

Thanks guys. So basically there's no research out there that suggests that 1,3 is a beta agonist or even increases noradrenaline?

What's with all the message board hype about it being the next EC then.

Just because it has quite a bit of punch if you are looking for a good stim/focus product and also suppresses my appetite. I've noticed that in a bunch of 1,3 dym products.

Not for direct fat loss, but for me it kills appetite more, and increases my cardio intensity. So while it doesn't burn fat itself, it allows me to better.

In my experience, 1,3 Dimethyl acts for a shorter time than Ephedrine does as well. This is a good and bad thing depending on how you take a look at it.

But yeah, 1,3 Dimethyl hasn't been studied much as opposed to Ephedrine which has been studied extensively. The only few pieces of research on 1,3 Dimethyl have noted it is somewhat weaker in effect than Ephedrine.

Nice post, except you are referring to the beta-3 receptor.

Affinity for the beta-2 receptor is proportional to the affinity for the beta-3 receptor, so drugs with good beta-2 affinity will also significantly affect beta-3 receptors, resulting in lipolysis.

It does increase norepinephrine, but NE does not directly trigger lipolysis (fat breakdown). Epinephrine is the endogenous hormone which has this capacity.
