I see it exactly the opposite and the Roelly just dominates Evan. Funny how subjective this is. I concede that Evan's calves are better, but that is it.

take a look at Roelly leg compared to Evans in the side chest. There is no argument there, Roellys are much thicker

Correct, I have just posted in the Roelly vs Phil thread that Evan beat a tougher competition, he's top pro material, no severe weaknesses, tall, great frame, wide with pretty small waist, he was massive (even fat, Cutler type) when he was a teen, so he has the genetic (muscles + frame) to grow a lot and to make some damage in the future.

Thats bodybuilding, Roelly is great. Hope they he does the Arnold with Evan next year and we will see

Evan is considerably taller than Roelly so he has a bigger frame to fill...i cant remember where i saw them but the most recent pics of evan were just unreal

Sure let's not forget that Evan has taken some time off to improve and should be much better now. Just thought it was a cool comparison to the see the ny champs two years apart

I know this. They both are very sharpe but in my opinion Evan has they edge on conditioning. We know Roelly can hang with the tall guys after knocking out Wolf and Freeman. But I think Evan is just bigger and better minus the side hamstring, I agree with that but from the rear Evans glutes and hams are in better condition. I see all of your points but like I said hopefully they both do the Arnold.

Evan is way taller than roelly, and evans bone structure is WAY better. Roelly looks better in these pics, but 3 or 4 years down the road evan will be on top

I prefer Evan's physique but I'd say it's about even when comapring different poses. Evan has lower lat instertions and a better midsection. Better calfs too. Chest is pretty close and I think from the back Evans arms are better while Roellys are better from the front. Roelly's got slightly better delts too. If Evan brings up his legs a little he'll be a top 5 O contender I think. Roelly's sitting in top 10 for me but I'm sure he still has improvements he can make. As does Evan.

Much more striated muscle. Evan's back looks thin. Evan has better calves, big deal. Roelly owns this guy. His delts look very weak compared to Roelly, and the chest...no contest. Roelly dominates...period.

Roelly has better muscle separation and looks "rounder" in most muscle groups. Bigger traps, glutes, and rear delts are immediately noticable.

For me, Roelly dominates Evan. Might not be the case if Evan had competed this year, but strictly comparing 09 to 10, Roelly wins.

based on pics it's all preference... I like Roelly's physique over Evan's but to see who's the best they have to be put side by side...

Evan, I think, had the better package come NY Pro...

Evan was complete...no strong flaws except that he lacks some size on his legs, but his conditioning and mass itself is strong... And he's pretty symmetrical everywhere...no missing parts. Like I said, just his legs really need work...and he just needs some more muscle maturity or that densed look and he's a Mr. O for sure.
