The 2 gncs that ive been to only offer a small selection consisting of gnc brand, and the fad supplements like jacked and extenze. Very expensive prices.
The fact that their personnel doesnt know a damn thing about what they are selling doesnt bother me, but it does when:
The MANAGER aggressively interrogates me as to why im in his store. I tell him a weight gainer, and he points me to cytogainer, and he tells me that i cant buy it because it contains creatine, which is illegal for someone my age, so he says. I just walked out, didnt even bother to argue with him...........

cant blame gnc, last time i went there the guy gave me a bunch of free vitamins and that 2 shakers for $10 is true, but they guy said grab 3...guess he used his discount...i mean it cost them like $1 to make a shaker so its not hurting them,
i prefer gnc over this new vitamin shoppe that just opened up

There's a vitamin shoppe across the street from my gym and about 4 mins away from my house. I went to buy White Flood (50 servings) and it was $38 instead of the $27 on bb.com . BB.com is almost always cheaper, but a store is right by my gym where I go almost every day. Just depends on the situation

I went in there for the first time the other day with my cousin and there was a really fat woman working on the till who didnt know anything. A customer was askering her some questions about supplements and she couldnt answer it so me and my cousin had to help him out lol. It just confuses me seeing a very fat woman working in a body building shop? :S Maybe she is bulking and next time i see her she will be ripped lol

Gnc...
Ya, i have to agree with most of you guys, and this coming from a GNC employee also. Don't hate me for working there, i just try to make my money like other people do. However, to speak the truth. I would not recommend you guys to go there for helps, because most of the employee will just push GNC products on you, and most of them don't even know ****. Personally, i love bb'ing, and i do know a wide range of supplements. The reason why i work @ GNC is because there are no other supplement stores @ where i live, but i really hope there will be a Vitamin Shoppe open @ my area soon so i can just get the hell outta GNC and help people who need helps out there.
Another reason why i hate GNC is that my boss always on my ass and tell me i need to bring the GNC products up. So if i was you, don't go anywhere near GNC.

Vitamin Shoppe is the best. Ive never once gotten pushed towards buying Vitamin Shoppe Products. The people there are very knowledgeable too. I hate GNC last time I went in there the man told me not to buy powder because it doesnt tatse good

LOL
Im pretty sure that signing the reciept isnt needed anymore...as soon as you swipe the card and press ok, it withdraws that money from your acc...the guy was just on his man period.
I dont like GNC because they are very incompetent, and will sell ANYTHING. Like the time i came in for some superpump 250 and the guy tried to sell me a Test booster XD
Also, because my local Gncs' prices are as high as a cats ass. My local GNC charges around $30 for a tub of ON Whey protein that would only be $20 from VS or $22 from BB.com.
That, is why i do all of my supp shopping online...Best sites are BB, Vitamin shoppe, and Supplement direct.

This is kind of a stupid argument... When I buy things on clearance at the GNC or buy one get one 1/2 off its cheaper than bb.com. There's websites a lot cheaper then bb.com. Just because you post on the forums here doesn't mean you have to nuthug everything on this website.

I went there recently, buy one shaker get the other half off. I got the shaker ball bottle.. which is the best shaker iv ever used imo. and I overheard a gnc worker talking to this guy who works out but knows nothing.. it was killing me to hear the convo. that poor guy walked out of gnc with like over 100$ spent.. the gnc guy talked him into getting all kinds of gnc brand stuff.
