List Why You Hate GNC!

i bought a fat caliper for 20$. not digital or anything.

i opened this thread to get a look on why people here hate gnc and would rather buy from bodybuilding.com!


A reason why i hate gnc is because today i went there with my two dudes to see if theirs any good sales plus i needed a new blender bottle on the quick. So i walk in and this little dude, of the workers (he was about 5"4 mabe 130 or so pounds) says "hey look stupid kids are coming in". So i ignored it and walked in and start looking around, but then him and another worker come up to us eyeballing us like were going to steal their stuff and asked what were doing, i said im just looking. He just stood by me the whole 5 minutes i was in there so i said screw it and went to buy my blender bottle. I get to the cash out and the guy said theirs a sale and i can get two blender bottles for 10$, so i go and get another one because ill use them. I payed with my card, he gave me my receipt, he said thanks so i left. We leave the store and go outside, then about two minutes later i see the cashier, he came outside and yells at me because i didnt sign my receipt. So i walk back with him to sign it, hes arguing with me even know he cashed me out, gave me my receipt and said thanks for me to leave. I sign it, call him a dick and leave. Then when i got home i looked at my copy of the receipt, the guys lied, i was charged the full price for both bottles, i was charged about 17$... Every time i go to a gnc in my area they are always liars, rude and just want me to buy the most expensive worthless supplement they carry. This is one reason why you all should stick with bodybuilding.com, the people here are legit and nice. Don't fork over all of your earnings over to rude workers at gnc.

GNC is overpriced but i have managed to gain 37lbs on their stack of mass XXX and their whey. But on gold card week and when they offer promotions its not horrible i just need to find a new mass gainer that gets even better results and better price.

Bitching about stores isn't exactly great, but I do dislike them.
I went there once, and the prices are overpriced as ****, and the workers are just meatheads that are on roid rage.

go to walmart, meijer or kroger and look for BodyFortress Mass gainer, I think it only comes in chocolate. Iv been steadily gaining weight with it. I have previously used Mass XXX, that worked good also. the body fortress is 15 bux for 2 lbs.

yea i looked at that but i thought it was 15bucks for like 7 servings idk i'll check again if the price is better thanks.

The gnc in my area is actually cheaper on a lot of stuff than bb.com. might be because there is another supplement shop on the same block

yeah, it says 4 scoops per serving but unless your rich just use one. I use 2 of those mass gainers each month. with 1 scoop per serving. usually drink one before bed and for breakfast. and iv put on 26 lbs in 4 months. got flu that lasted 3 weeks lost 20 lbs, and iv already put 19 lbs back on since being sick in around 25 days. so im back to where i ended, 172 lbs..

I know this is super old but I just found it and wanted to add. I stopped going to GNC around the time of this article (2010ish). I discovered bodybuilding.com and never looked back. Now, I am the type of consumer that finds something and sticks with it. But it seemed like every time I went into a GNC the person working there was some meathead handing out with his wife / gf. I never actually had a "bad" experience with GNC but always seeing these douchebages with their undeserved sense of accomplishment annoyed the f*&^ out of me. Maybe it was a California thing.
