    Post KETO O KETO... Sceptical, scared and begging for help!

    I've been a competitive bodybuilder since i was 16, but getting to college was a new challenge that took me by surprise. A one year lay-off from competing and a freshman 15 later, im ready to get back on-stage and start my climb to the top!

    Carb cycling diets have always been my weapon of choice, but now they seam to be nothing more than a stomach rumbling, brain fog inducing, muscle mass eating nightmare. There is no doubt my body changed from the previous year, leading me to believe that my insulin sensitivity took a turn for the worst. This diet differs in all the aspects that make me hate carb cycling: Hunger, fatigue, brain fog, no energy... So here i am trying the diet i always ran from, the diet that scares me so much im begging for help!


    Stats:
    19 y/o
    6'1
    220lbs
    12.5% BF
    cardio in the morning 5x a week
    workout mon-fri

    So i calculated 2600 calories maintenance @ 200 grams from protein and 200 grams from fat to hit KETO..

    Day 1:
    meal one
    1 oz cheese
    4 eggs
    4 bacon strips
    cup o coffee
    totals: 42 fat 46 protein 2 carbs

    meal two
    1 tbs flax seed oil
    2 oz pepperoni
    2 oz cheese
    totals: 44/24/0

    meal three
    chicken breast
    2 oz pepperoni
    2 oz cheese
    totals:44/48/0

    meal four
    1 tbs peanut butter
    1 tbs cream cheese
    4 bacon strips
    totals: 28/30/5

    meal five
    8 oz steak
    broccoli
    1 oz nuts
    totals: 40/46/5

    That's day 1. Please let me know how this looks.
    Ill follow this until next friday where i will start my carb load of 200g protein, 800g carbs and 50g fat over the 36 hours leading to sunday, and hop back on my sun- thurs no carb.

    When should i hit Keto? When should i test with ketostix?
    What should i expect with keto?
