tillman is gonna have some company with matusz and possibly arrieta later this season as what could be a nice future 1-2-3 punch for baltimore...
crappy thing is, other than my brewers, the pitching in baltimore had the second most dreadful pitching last season, and i'm thinking it may be due to the pitching coach...all 3 of these guys were very good in the minors and big young names...
it'll be interesting to see what they do this season...

haha @ hafner...people have been saying this since he got hurt and started eating dick the past few years...i can't sit and watch him anymore...i think he's done...
and reimold may not be healed from his injury last season, either...i think pie ended up getting the job over him in baltimore to start the season and while i agree he has a lot of potential, i think you're gonna have to wait one more year for the guy, BUT, if you're in a keeper league you might want to pick him up on the cheap and stash him...

maybe waitin for another year of arb eligibility?? or else, just so he can get consistent ab's down in the minors?
he had a good spring and i personally think he'd help that offense who with a bit more power would make them the class of the NL west...
the giants should see what they can get for molina and bring posey up...

he is very very solid since i follow the Sox. I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit 25HR but I think that is his max. He is a doubles machine though.
Also, I know that Carlos Quentin completely dropped this year. I remember him going around 30 last year and I picked him up very late this year. I know he is possibly injury prone, but this spring he has been dominating and looks like he is back to 08 form. If you can get him late I think it is worth taking a chance on him. What are you on about mate?

"Yo, come on, we're Arizona State. They wouldn't give him (President Obama) a degree? Really? I mean, even if they offered him one, he should've been insulted. He'd be like, 'I went to Harvard.' I mean, come on, I barely went to class, and they passed me. It's Arizona [expletive] State!" - Terrell Suggs

yeah, if you've got some pop in your infield to compensate and want to go heavy on pitching in the first half of the draft, willingham is a nice player to round out your outfield late...
injuries and extended slumps seem to be a forte of his, however, so watch out, and i wouldn't call him a sleeper, but can see the logic in him being a nice late round pick-up...

Sure, but there is plenty of speed available in the outfield. I think I remember Juan Pierre going about the same # as Davis was.
Will Venable is another sleeper...he really dominated at the end of last season and I think he might be hitting 3rd in front of A. Gonzalez. He can steal some bags and hit for power. What are you on about mate?

How do you guys think Francisco Liriano will do this year? He is dominating spring training. I wonder if his arm is finally healthy. Either way I took a risk and went for him.
Also, Fausto Carmona looks good in spring. Neither of them are really sleepers, but both have them have dropped as far as the draft goes. What are you on about mate?
