Fellas, I just thought we should see a thread about discussing old school supplements that we, our parents, grandparents, aunt/uncle, old neighbor, used to take. I am referring to stuff back 10, 15, and even 20 years ago. Would love to hear what was in your stash cabinet then.
I also give cred to "On Fire" for mentioning this to the thread I started on "Ultimate Orange".
Here is the original thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=123293771
Here's my original post:
The Original Ultimate Orange
Who here remembers taking this stuff? I remember taking it back in the day as my pre-workout, taste like crap compared to the new stuff now but I tell ya, it works wonders for me back then (1997). I'm referring to The Original Ultimate Orange drink, as I have read they came out with a new formula in 2006.
I also remember taking Met-Rx Metamyosyn as my post workout supp.
Let's hear it!

Was definitely going to start this off with Cre-X 8 and Cre-X 12. First non-protein supplements I ever used. I think there was like 80 grams of sugar per serving. I think I was 17. All I remember was bloating, stomach distress and MAD placebo effect hahaha.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wish I could find a photo!

I also remember taking Ripped Fuel with Ephedra right after my workout, stupid 19 year old move on my part! It was so strong that I did not go bed not until 4 am in the morning.

Ultimate Orange was the first supplement I ever used. Wicked stuff.
Anyone remember the Old Pinnacle Andro Poppers? I can still remember the ad's for them, Ronnie Coleman was sponsored by them back in the day.Krispy Kreme Krew Forever.

When I started BB, I did anabolic mega pack, and Crash weight gain formula 7 by Joe Weider, I got some solid gains on these two.

Had to put on my Zubaz pants and T-Michael Rag Top to participate in this thread. Looking thru my supplement stash I see a Cybergenics kit so I can look like Franco Santoriello. When I get freaky big I'll tell everybody it was from the Smilax Gold and Gamma Oryzanol. I thought I would have gotten bigger from the Hot Stuff (original formula) and boron I just finished.

I think it was mostly Higher Power products, but it was a big combo that Big Cat who frequented this boards quite a bit back in the day, put together.
It had like 2 bottles of 1-AD, 6-OXO, weight gainer, protein powder, creatine and a few other products.
All of it was only like 140 bucks.Krispy Kreme Krew Forever.

Not a Supp. But I remember buying this back in '97. It was a great informative book for a young 18 year old lad back then (me). My 1st stupid mistake? Trying to copy Arnie's workout regime
Mr. Joe Weider will forever be the man, along with Mr. Mike Mentzer.

Haha, I remember taking a weight gainer then. I believe it's actually this
I was trying to get bigger since right after football, I was down to 170 (didn't know nutrition then) and wanted to be around 200 lbs..So I can wear my new letterman's jacket with pride in H.S..
Since I was a TE, I dreamed of looking like Shannon Sharpe then.Last edited by audieswu; 03-25-2010 at 02:12 PM.
