    Unusually long soreness in quads...

REPOST: since no one reads the recovery section

I have been out of the gym for awhile; I finally ran into leg day, or rather it ran into me. Going on day 5 now I still have quite a bit of soreness and discomfort in my quads; even for not training for such a long time, I can't help but feel that this is a little long to be sore, especially since it is not markedly better since day 2.

How should I approach the up coming week of training? Today is Chest/Tricep, so I should not have to worry; but I ****ing love deadlift, and come wednesday I want to give it all I got.

Thanks for any help, reps to any particularly helpful posts.

    ignore it and deadlift
it'll feel better when you're done with your deadlifts

For me atleast, after many years of regular squatting,
its not unusuall to still be a little sore 5 days after leg day.
    Imo proceed as planed.
