Cliffs: 8+ year battle with anorexia. Started living healthier and turned my life around. I still fight thoughts every day and want to put on more mass. I am doing this at the request of a few people and eat a lot of the same meals for convenience, so I will most likely recycle pic's to save time. I also get out all my food at one point in the day and then eat over the course of the day so you will largely not see pictures of individual meals but rather my entire days worth of meats, veggies, carbs, and fats as individual components.
Ok I am actually on Day 4 so I have some catching up to do.
Note:
So here it goes.
Day 1
3 cans of tuna, paprika, cayenne
peas (EVOO, garlic powder, garlic salt)
mashed turnip with Promise, mustard, italian seasoning
3 slices veggie cheese
2 wraps
chocolate cake (carbquick, organic cocoa powder, eggs)
Strawberry whey cake
Vanilla Cottage cheese Ice cream

Well I love refried beans (cold out of the can)
and who doesn't love some Natty PB (Teddie creamy)? When i like to flavors separately, I like to try them together.
You have to like a mush texture for sure
I doubt if anyone else does this so you might want to proceed with cautionFounder of MMDELAD

Not nearly enough (plus 5'2")
Well I'm sorry I can't say I honestly know.
I guess I should clarify, why you see no numbers
When I finally started to make changes awhile back, I was afraid looking at the scale would be detrimental, but I had to have a way to judge progress. So I didn't weight myself for a few weeks. Then when I finally did weigh in (not knowing what my real weight would be cuz it had been awhile), I re-calibrated my scale. I then got on again with a 10 lb weight and the scale read 10lbs heavier (so I knew I had done it right). SO now I can just base my progress on weight change and not worry about what the # is because it is just a #. As long as my weight is increasing, that is all I need to worry about. This may sound crazy but I am someone who always obsessed over #s (well actually I obsess over a lot of things in life beyond food and exercise).
I did the same thing with my intake. I would obsess over hitting my macros to the hundreth of a gram (which beyond being crazy in itself is pointless due to rounding on labels anyways). So I also created a program where I plug in my activity for the day. Then i keep plugging in foods until I reach a certain Net calories. As long as the macros of the foods I have entered are within a certain range (I ensure a certain amount of protein and fat), I am good to go. If they aren't, there is an alert field so I know I am too low, and I make adjustents. My daily intake is then exported into a log so i can look back at what I have been doing if my results aren't meeting my expectations. This way I still know what I have been doing so I have a frame of reference to base changes.
Enough explanation?Founder of MMDELAD

Definitely in on this. Can you PM the info on the Strawberry Whey Cake and Vanilla CC Ice Cream Damn they look great!
-
03-10-2010, 05:22 PM #20
CC ice cream
1c whipped Cottage cheese
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/3c milk
vanilla extract and spenda to taste
Mix and freeze
For alternative flavorings I mix in PB and cocoa powder for a Reese's flaovring and get rid of protein powder
Or blend up some berries or bananas for fruit flavors and get rid of the protein powder
Whey cake
I just basically mix egg whites with whey and SF drink mix (strawberry in this case)
and microwave.Founder of MMDELAD

well I eat a good amount and have for sometime.
My weight problem has largely been due to overexercising. That is one reason why many around me thought I was fine and better before I really was. Back in HS when I was a distance runner, I would be putting in 10 miles a day. Running that amount, I could easily eat a normal level of calories and lose substantial weight.
So the key for me most recently has been cutting down on cardio (although I still play sports, run and bike but do it at an enjoyable level) and finally focusing on the weight training and REST.Founder of MMDELAD
