I never went to a "professional" over my eating disorder. But I OBVIOUSLY know what I'm talking about.
You need to 100% relax and not obsess. Easier said than done right?
Everyday you should out and out BINGE on something healthy but high in calories like peanutbutter. Do that for 3 weeks and you will be much better.

no. that was 33% of my intake was fat. SO that day was about 80grams.
and it isnt so much that you in particular are frustrating me
its that I see other people receive positive reinforcement, I have made big changes am eating hundreds more calories, being less restrictive, have stopped overexercising, am currently gaining weight, and yet get nothing but criticism. I feel good about what I am doing, know I still have plenty further to go, and don't mind some constructive criticism but some positive reinforcement that I see others get would be nice as well.Last edited by determined4000; 03-19-2010 at 07:12 PM.

Just read carbquicks ingredients....SO MUCH FIBER MAN! my god. I know these tricks dude.
I used to eat a TON OF VEGGIES and other soluable and insoluable fibers.
your digestive tract would be better off with a less amount. seriously.
do you burn s hit on purpose too? i used to do that one a lot as well

I already said, I have been ADVISED to keep fiber high because of digestive issues. They said it was that or laxatives and thats the last thing I need to get myself into (and as always I prefer natural method vs medication).
No I don't burn stuff. I prefer to my food to actually taste food.Founder of MMDELAD

Gotcha, makes more sense now. My apologies.
It's always easier to criticize than support I think, but you've been struggling with this for 8+ years and it's clear you still have issues. Personally for me it's hard to say "good job" under those circumstances. None the less you have made great improvements, but there is still plenty of way to go.
Good luck and best wishes. Keep up the hard work, I know you are trying hard.ENCLAVE

Keep at it man what matters is you're eating! and judging from the posts you are and thats what matters the most!
i recall reading a post where you stated you have more energy... you see that! that means progress right there and now all you have to do is maintain that progress and keep it up. Soon enough you will be getting those good gains because right now you just started the progression. So keep it up! best of luck man!

Don't get frustrated bro... I've been there...
You know how I overcome these problems?
Eat more than usual ! (even when I was eating above maintenance and bulked).
This way proved me that even if I add more calories or change foods, nothing bad happens.
today I'm healthier, I don't really follow meal plans... just getting enough protein...
some days I eat 2500cals... some days 4000... sometimes "healthy foods" and sometimes the whole day would be snacks, cookies, junks etc...
Progress is good, and I feel great eating whatever, whenever I want.
Best way to get better on this is to see that you can eat more whenever you want and still get great results.
Try it, just add more calories every X days, even if you're on a surplus.

seriously, your comments are no longer helping me, just giving me negative feelings
At this time I need some positive support with what I am doing. Please keep your comments to yourself or just don't look at the thread if it bothers you.
ThanksLast edited by determined4000; 03-24-2010 at 03:08 PM.

I am extremely hypoglycemic and always have been (Dr. identified it at 3)
I was hospitalized 3.5 years ago (19) because of a massive intestinal blockage (literally nothing could pass through my system. They estimated I may have had up to 10lbs of stool i my system (fecal material entirely filled stomach, intestines, colon).
Because of hypoglycemia-->restriction on carbs and types of carbs
digestive issue-->required to have a high fiber intake and and Dr. mandated colace (a stool softener, I refused laxative).Founder of MMDELAD

Mate,
Having suffered from an ED too I know how hard it can be to WANT to make these changes and i am in a similar boat to you right now and find it difficult to EAT more, however stupid that may sound!! The important thing you need to remember is that nothing will change unless YOU want it to?? Im only saying this as I know how hard it actually is to makes these changes, and I dont want to be hypocritical, it just sounds like you have alot of excuses as to why you cant eat certain foods. Eating only 'Healthy' foods and avoiding 'Dirty' foods will not help you long term, although you may be eating a good amount of cals and making progress, your overall goal is to rid yourself of the ED and be 'Normal', So ask yourself this, how many of these guys on here who are normal and healthy live their lives avoiding 'Dirty' foods?..........................Im guessing NONE!!
I don't want to be negative because you are moving in the right direction, but like I say, I am in a similar situation, seriously trying to bulk to hopefully join the RAF and be in a healthy weight range, but its more than just eating that needs to change, you need to address any mental issues now as they are more of an inhibition than the food consumption.
Seriously, Good luck mate and keep it up!!
