    Another Bench help thread.

So I need some help guys.. My bench sucks. Terribly.
@220lbs I have only been able to hit a crappy paused 245. I've tried different grip width, foot placements, heels up, heels down, huge arch, almost flat back.. And nothing feels natural. I've done training cycles with low reps, no more than 5, and now I doing higher reps sets with 5/3/1 (on my 1+ weeks getting 7-10). My other lifts are progressing very well still, setting PR's bi-weekly, sometimes every week. I'll try anything at this point. I know my build and leverages are more built for the deadlift but I atleast want to get to a slightly respectable bench.

    Here 2 form videos:

    Squat: 515x1
    Log C&P: 300x1
    Deadlift: 635x1

In both of the videos your feet look unstable, which will effect how tight you can get on the bench. Also it looks as if you don't have t-rex arms, so widen your grip so the bar doesn't have to go as far, that helps as well. Benching becomes much easier as you get heavier so make sure you keep eating.

I feel pretty tight on the bench but with my most recent video I see that my feet do get a little jumpy. I'll try to work on that.
I've been thinking of bringing my grip out wider again, I been benching pretty close in attempt to get some more tricep development.

Yea sounds good, try vary your grips in training, then you can work on weak points and find out what is best. Keep it up.
