that would still leave 1900 for squats and bench...

Then let's say squats: 1100

Bench: 800

Or
DL: 1150
SQ: 1100
BN: 750

Or
DL: 1200
SQ: 1200

I just don't see it happening... you're looking at an unlikely smashing of either DL, SQ or both, records to make this reality.

Definitely not raw like your numbers seem to indicate.

The 275 multiply record at the moment is ~2800 (http://www.powerliftingwatch.com/records/275-men) - So I'd say the chances are that will be beat before the decade is out.

There's a huuuge gap between a high 2600/2700 total and 3000.

even between 2800 and 3000.

IMHO, the only person with a legit shot at 3000 is Andy Bolton, if he ever learns how to bench. 1200-800-1000.

Yes but those totals (I'm unfamiliar in general) doesn't seem to work out right- the top five in the totals show up nowhere in the top five in DL/SQ/BN (except for Yevgen Yarymbash in SQ).

Remember, Bolton's pretty much the only person to pull 1000lbs consistently, and I don't even think it was in a full meet (i think he took token squat and bench if it was... but correct me if i'm wrong).

We have a long way before we see people hitting 3000, IMO. When only 1 PL can hit a 1000 lb deadlift, that makes the chances pretty slim. It would have to be something like:

900lb deadlift
1200lb squat
900lb bench

Boltons world record total of 2,806 was made with something like a 1,213lbs squat and 1,003lbs deadlift. His bench was 590lbs.

I think he has hit 700+ bench in a competition, can't remember the other lifts (if any) that day.

The 1003 deadlift wasn't after a 1200 squat. I could be wrong though.
