    Besides for the last set of 7, how many other exercises and how many sets did you do?
    Anywhere from 12-20 sets before the final 7 per part. On leg days, that would mean something like 12 sets for quads then 7s, and 12 sets for hams, then 7s. So you can see why it was reduced.

    I was doing a full workout before hitting the 7 at the end and I was just spent.

    I like to keep the sets, pre 7 sets, to 7-8 for large muscle groups and 6 for smaller groups. I only train each part once a wk, due to time restraints and it has worked out well for me. Today was bicep day, don't ask schedule got screwed up and no I don't dedicate 1 workout to biceps, and hit it with the FST-7 principal. Felt good pump was insane. Felt really good. Going back to using this as my perm. routine.
