How much water should I drink daily on keto?

I've read that a person should drink half their body weight in water.

I weigh 170 pounds, is 90 oz of water enough? Should it be more?

Another side question, when mixing a protein shake, for the best results should you mix it with warm water, cool water, cold water, or ice cold water?

I am ~ 210 lbs and I try to get at least 160 oz of water a day. I just make sure I am constantly sipping on water. As far as the protein shake, I don't think it really matters. Whatever your preference is. I would try to get most of my protein from food though and only use shakes for PWO.

1-2 gallons is what you need...just keep a water bottle with you and drink all the time thats what i do
Doesnt matter the temp for your shake i dont think...but i actually have heard that its harder to mix with warm water...i like mine in cold water with ice but it doesnt really matter

Yea, I only drink shakes for PWO. I was asking because using protein shakes for PWO usually means you want that protein absorbed at a certain rate. I wasnt sure if the water temp could have an impact on this absorbtion....I would think it would affect it somehow.

Hot water makes protein powder clump up. And if you use a shaker mixer...you'll prolly explode the shake all over the kitchen (dont ask me how I know ;-) )

1 gallon is 128 ounces, damn that seems like a lot. I'll take your word for it, but I do remember reading somewhere that drinking too much water could actually hinder weight loss.

Hot damn, I just got up to drinking 40-48 oz of water a day and it's a struggle sometimes. Looks like I've got some more work to do.

you shouldn't have to struggle with water. If that is all your body can handle than thats all you can handle. You should not force yourself to drink more.
