Here are my current stats from seriously lifting for the past six months:
Bench:
87 lb (39.5 kg)
Bicep Curl:
44 lb (20.0 kg)
Squat:
151 lb (68.6 kg)
Barbell Rows:
58 lb (26.4 kg)
Deadlift:
162 lb (73.6 kg)
Overhead Press:
65 lb (29.5 kg)
If you check my Bodyspace you can see that many of my lift stats went down or plateaued.
My question is how long did it take you to lift 300 lbs? What were your original lift stats before?
My goal is to bench, squat, and deadlift 300 lbs in 1-2 years (a little bit ambitious). I keep a training notebook and record some of my progress online. I'm constantly tapering my training, but do you have any advice how I can achieve this goal? I'm aware this goal will be very difficult to achieve, but it's still achievable.
Any other advice for people that want to lift 300 lbs?

look into doing shieko or a smolov workout program my lifts have been going up like crazy!!And the average person gains 5-10lbs a month on there lifts so be prepared to dedicate some time to your goals. Good luck!!

^^^^ Hey, idiots. The OP is a girl.
Gonna take a lot longer than a few years for her to get 300 pounds on any of those lifts. She lacks the testosterone that allows us to get stronger and more muscular. Unless she's juicing, it's gonna be awhile.Last edited by the1satanfears; 02-19-2010 at 06:50 PM.

I dont think you will ever bench 300lbs. I dont think you will ever bench 200lbs. You'd have to cycle to squat and DL 300+ too IMO. Reassess your goals though, I'd love to see you prove me wrong. Your lifts now are pretty strong for a girl too. I'd say youre about equal with an untrained guy of the same age.

no offence, but you will probl never reach 300lbs on any of them, especially bench. i have an aunt who is a pro bodybuilder, shes been in magazines and stuff, and she can only bench 270. so 300 bench aint gonna happen. but if you really tried you could probly get the deadlift and maybe the squat to 300. depends how much you really want it tho.
