hey everyone. this is my first time posting on here...though ive been on it for a while.
Heres my story...
Ive been really into working out/BB for a few years now...however last year (my last year in college...go figure) i threw everything out the window...drank/partied EVERY night...and long story short...gained 20 pounds! stopped doing all that in october... (at least excessively) and have managed to lose the 20 pounds and feel really good about myself. I am really happy with my gains except I cant seem to lose the last bit of fat on my abs! I dont want to lose too much more weight and become toooo skinny....but at the same time i really want to reveal that six pack! any good tips for a quick shock to my body? maybe something that you have tried that changed up ur workouts and made your body respond? i already do about 5-6 days a week of weight training, about 3 days of running (i love running...not just doing it for cardio), and a couple days of spin classes a week. Any suggestions anyone?!
im just looking for maybe a really good circuit....lifting split...etc. anything youve tried and saw results with! thanks everyone!

if i increase my cals tho wont it cause an initial weight gain? i really think my diet is pretty good. i dont count calories but my diet is really focused on egg whites, a LOT of veggies, a few fruits, tuna, turkey, chicken (lean protein), and oatmeal. im lactose so i dont eat any dairy products also

If her goal is to appear more attractive to guys, having abs like her is a step ahead of having CHISELED abs. I don't mind personally, it would be hot either way, but the easiest way to figure out what guys want is look at models: they're essentially the epitome of what years of research and case studies have found attractive. Who has the best models? Well, among them, Victoria's Secret. All of them have relatively flat stomachs with some definition but no incredibly defined 6-pack (at least not at the airbrush stage, haha).
This is a relatively roundabout way of saying that models are essentially the idealized version of what men generally find attractive. And what they wear is what girls buy because it makes them feel like they'll get the same attention (that may be speculation on my part, haha)

Hmmm hearing all this kinda makes me think twice about my goals then...
I did want to achieve that 6 pack just because I feel like it is the final "i did it" in a sense...like an accomplishment of hard work and sticking to my diet. however..if its not attractive its a pretty dumb goal. plus i weigh around 128 at 5'8/5'9 so i really dont want to lose more weight...just get cut

I'd really not do this for the sake of looking attractive to some random guys. Do it for yourself. Stay healthy, try to set goals yourself, and work towards them. You have to live with your body, not some other guys.
This, of course, does only apply in case you're not a stripper. If you're a stripper we would need to see the rest.

Can I just make a slightly off-topic health remark ? Since you eat egg whites daily, have one or two whole eggs in the process. You don't seem to have any slightly fattier foods in your diet and I'll remind you that very key body functions can't work right without cholesterol and fats (like your sex hormone production among others). At least make sure you're getting an EssentialFattyAcids source, maybe from supplements if you don't care for fish like salmon on a daily basis - I'd recommend krill oil as the best, but you can get any kind of fish oil or omega3 supp.
Good luck.

Mira, eat less if you want to lose more fat and keep the protein up while doing some resistance training.
As for abs on a chic, I wouldn't care if a girl I was crushing on had abs or not so it's up to you.We all come from humble beginnings.
Studies everywhere tell you everything, listen to your body instead and you'll succeed.

1]If you really work out that much, it's the diet that is affecitng your body composition. Have a look at it and see where you are deviating from you goals.
2]Abs on women are sexy as hell.MAGA --- ΞΞΞΩΠΞΞΞΞ

Maybe try some type of low-weight/high-rep/high intensity plan. I got stuck recently, and switched up to a Tabata style training and I've lost about 5 lbs in 3 weeks. Maybe even try a fat burner. At the end of the day, girls with thick abs don't look that good anyways. Your good.

hm
you wanna tone it down further? i wouldn't suggest that- abs are gross on women
but if you do i guess do what you do now (which sounds like partioning, as there's not a whole lot of calories in what you're eating) and do some refeeds where you would eat above (highly above) maintenance calories.
but alot of factors goes into your question- what do you want to achieve? do you lift weights, genetics, etc...
