Hello,
I wanted to make sure that I'm buying a 100% whole grain pancake mix.
On the front of the box it claims to be 100% whole grain and also claims to provide 36 grams of whole grains in a serving. It does not include the whole grain stamp
Ingredients:
OAT FLOUR, WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, BROWN SUGAR, SUGAR, LEAVENING (MONOCALCIUM PHOSPHATE, SODIUM BICARBONATE, SODIUM ALUMINUM PHOSPHATE), DRIED MOLASSES, SALT, HYDROXYLATED SOY LECITHIN, SOY FLOUR, REDUCED IRON.

Protein pancakes
I have been trying to cut back on the carbs to cut up better and started making pancakes for breakfast with a variation of eggs and have found that a way to contrast them is buy adding equal amounts protein to pancake mix.
Serving size it 1/3 cup which is about 20 carbs and 130 cal 4g protein for my pancake mix.
add your protein powder mine is all the whey and myoplex and some egg white egg beaters a serving and you have about 5 pancakes that in total are 280 cal 26 grams protein 22 carbs. Add some sugar free syrup which are 0 net carbs and you have about a 300 cal meal and all the good stuff of a restaurant breakfast.
I usually have 2 serving of egg beaters eggs to go along with the meal for a total of 360
38g protein and 24 carb some good stuff."Dicipline-Sacrifice-Dedication"
