    None of us are perfect Kris...we all have ways of coping. Life is hard...life is unpredictable...life is always a learning curve. It's a fine line between under-eating and not wanting to eat too much....you'll find the right spot for you! I am sure of it. I find I wanna binge when I haven't eaten enough protein...maybe that could also have been a factor?

    Both of you in Australia??? Seriously?? That would be AWESOME!!! Please please please head Downunder!!!

    Today: therapy and a workout. I plan to read tonight as well. Tomorrow, I get a haircut(YAY!) and I'll take a ride to the beach. My plan, weather permitting, is the catch sunset.

    hm . . i know what you mean, but how about developing a coping mechanism that's not 'health' related at all? maybe start painting or knitting?

    Painting and knitting are healthy ways of coping with stress and anxiety. That is my point. Healthy/Unhealthy does not always = exercise and diet. I'm looking for something healthy, inexpensive, and that will keep my interest. Eating nor exercising fit that for me at this point in my life.

    What about focusing on not allowing stress and anxiety to cause a need for a coping strategy?
    [I only ask as that is where I am leaning at the moment]

    Obviously, yes, sometimes there is going to be situations that cause the need for certain undesired emotions - thats a given.
    But allow those

    For the every day .. or every week issues (especially those you do not directly control) <-- don't allow them to stress you. Find a way to laugh instead
