    How do I do this trying to cut and Estimate calories burned?

    If im counting 2000 cals for me on a cut a day and go to the gym and burn lets say 500, would I need to increase my calories to 2500 to meet the goal of shedding fat or what?

    Im 6'7 255lbs

    yea don't go too far into a deficit or you'll lose muscle. I always consume about 400-500 calories more on days I lift whether I'm cutting or not because your body needs them to fuel your workout and replenish your glycogen stores after working out.
