    before bed protein

i don't like cottage cheese, so i was wondering if i could have maybe 1 or 2 cups of milk and some walnuts and/or almonds, since both milk and nuts are slow digesting. i'm bulking btw. are there any cons about this, also im sure a lot of people will just say eat cc, if you give me some good links convincing me to then i guess ill force myself to eat it ;p

combine any protein with some fat and you can slow digestion
Id probably eat more protein than just 8g from milk though

you could drink a protein shake, ideally casien protien (which is found in milk)
i usually have protein from solid foods an hour or so before bed, then drink a casien protein shake when i wake up at night.
or just drink as much milk as you can, when i bulk i drink 2-3L of milk a day.

Unless your real name is Rip Van Winkle, I'd forget about the obsession of trying to slow digestion. Just eat so you hit your daily targets and you will be fine. You can have any protein pre-bed and be fine. Yes, that even means you can have beef, chicken, fish, etc.
