Have any of you tried it? Soy & Whey protein powders do not agree with my stomach at all! I saw "egg white protein powder" at the store. It seems much pricier, but I have not been doing well with my protein intake and I definitely need a supplement. Opinions/thoughts?
Thanks!!

Egg White Protein Powder

I have a slight problem with lactose and whey shakes give me the 'gurglies' in my tummy + gas. Blegh. I tried the egg white proteins and to be honest, I thought they were disgusting. I thought the egg taste would be disguised (or at least attempted to be disguised) but I was way wrong. Could have just been the brand I go tho...?
If it's a lactose issue, there are plenty of lactose free brands you can try."If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut." - Albert Einstein

I found that egg protein powder really tore my stomach up - gas cramps, pain, the works. I don't seem to have a problem when it is mixed into protein blends, or just regular eggs, but the pure powder I tried was a disaster. It was the brand with the black label, "healthy n fit nutritionals". All brands may not be bad...

I only use egg protein powder because I am lactose intolerant, I can't recommend any because all the ones I have used (and presently using) are not really pleasant :-(

I've only used it for cooking, I have no idea what it would taste like as a shake.
Have you tried more than one brand of Whey or Soy? Maybe order some sample packs from a few companies and see if you can find something that works for you? That will be cheaper than buying a large container and having it not work.
Also, if the protein you got has a large amount of fiber in it, and you aren't used to it your body will react badly until it is used to the higher fiber intake.
