I've posted here a couple times, but I decided to make an update since I've made a bit more progress.
In the following pictures, I've compared my progress from 3 points in time: a before which is from 3.5 years ago, mid-point photos which were taken in May of 2008, and then recent photos. The mid-point photos were at one point my after photos, but I've progressed a lot since then. I currently don't have any specific weight goals. I finally broke through the 100 lb barrier which is a huge deal for me (I'm only 5'1"). Anyway...

Thank you!
I feel so much healthier and honestly I cannot imagine going back. Thank you!
Thank you :P.
Right now I'm doing a split that looks something like this:
Day 1- back, shoulders, and abs
Day 2- legs
Day 3- chest, bis, tris, and abs
Day 4- off
repeat
I've played around with different splits and so far this is the one that has worked best. I always start out with the big, compound exercises and then fill in the rest. I workout at home so sometimes things get a bit redundant. I do cardio most days a week, mainly because I like it and it's something I've always done. Some days I go for long walks, sometimes I do HIIT, and then sometimes I'll do a cardio video.
Diet isn't really very strict or anything. I think I'm getting around 2500 calories, but I'm not entirely sure. I make sure to get in a decent amount of protein (usually at least 1.5 grams per lb of body weight) and then fill in the rest from there. I don't restrict carbs at all since I do like to do cardio and I also make sure to get in plenty of healthy fats too. I incorporate plenty of "cheats", mainly because of my eating disordered background and wanting to stay away from the eating disordered mentality or "black-and-white" thinking.
Oh, and thank you .

I have, but it's been worth it . Thank you!
I agree about the 80 lbs pictures. The scary thing is at my lowest weight I weighed about 15 lbs less than that. But that is past, I will never go back to that. I think my goal is to get to 105 lbs, but I'm going at it very slowly. I've never weighed more than 105 lbs with the exception of when I was 9 months pregnant so I'm not sure if more than that is unrealistic. Thank you! I'm actually not working to tighten anything up really. Unless I ever decide to compete, but that wouldn't be for a while down the road and it would only be a temporary thing (while in contest prep). But right now I'm just going to kind of go as I have been and see what happens. I'm happy and healthy and love working out (and eating too).

You look absolutely amazing....really inspirational transformation.
Congrats on your healthy relationship w/ diet and exercise....it's hard to live this lifestyle w/out taking it too seriously sometimes (especially the diet portion lol)...you seem to have found a great balance for yourself and the results speak volumes..
btw, I think you would do fantastic in a figure competition....

Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Well thank you! Yes, I can definitely see how that could happen which is why I'm being very careful. Part of what has drawn me into this is that I've been able to let go of a lot of the rigidity I once had with food. Thanks so much on the figure competition comment . I think I'm going to give myself a couple more years in recovery to really establish my health and then it may be something I'll go for.
Thank you!
That is what my husband thinks too. Thank you .
Thank you :P!
I certainly *feel* healthier too . Thank you!
Thank you !
Thanks you!
Thanks, I definitely feel healthier too.
I will, thank you!
Thank you! I totally used to be one of those girls too. I was terrified of getting "bulky" so I wasted probably a good year lifting no more than 10 lb dumbbells. But the more time I spent on the site, the more I realized muscle is a good thing and I got the courage to move forward and lift heavy and eat better.
Thank you .
Thank you! I agree, I wish more women would post here as well. I think many are probably intimidated as this is primarily a male crowd here, but most are nice and won't bite. The more women post here, the more other women will feel comfortable posting. Not that I don't like seeing the male progress, that is very inspirational too !
LOL, well thank you :P.On a mini-cut, then onto maintenance mode for the summer.

Not quite ready for that yet. He definitely doesn't pressure me into it, he is just glad I don't look like I used to. Whenever I tighten up my diet a bit, he always brings home cheat food. He does not want me to be any leaner :P. He thinks I look great as it is now though and has mentioned on several occasions that he'll fully support whatever I decide to do as long as it stays a healthy endeavor.
