    I'm Back.

    Workout: 1.5 Circuits
    Time: 35 Minutes

    1st Circuit
    DB Press: 45 X 12, 45 X 11, 45 X 11
    Hammer Curls: 25 X 10, 25 X 10, 25 X 9
    OH Tri Extensions: 45 X 12, 45 X 11, 45 X 10
    Shugs: 60's X 10, 60's X 11, 60's X 12

    2nd Circuit
    DB Flies: 30 X 10, 30 X 10, 30 X 10
    Preacher Curls: 40 X 10, 40 X 10, 40 X 8

    Cardio
    Time: 20 Minutes
    Distance: 1.34 Miles

    Workout Summary:
Well, I'm finally back! Good news is that I'm sore, and that my strength doesn't seem to be as bad as I thought it would be. Goal is to add 1/2 circuit every workout in the beginning to get up to the 3 that I used to do. I'll do more and more cardio, and the goal is to do it every day, not just lifting days. It'll take time to get back, so I'm gradually ramping up, but at this point, I'm feeling good and am very happy to be back. To come back is the best decision that I've made in some time, and have no plans to stop or "retire" anytime soon.

Long term, I'm considering a different training program. For the time being, the modified circuits that I'm best known for is probably the best program for what I need - to get back into shape. I'm weighing in at 234 at this point, which is down 6 lbs from where I was. Overall, I'm feeling good about the comeback, even if it took me forever to get it rolling. Sometimes, you have to hit rock bottom to get the level of motivation that you need.

    Update

Hey everybody, hope you all are doing well. Update on my situation...I had accepted a position back in the Orlando area several months ago, and I ended up needing to commute the entire week (roughly 2 hours one way). That was why the journal came to a stop. Fast forward to now; I'm moving to Orlando within a month, and will pick everything back up.

Sorry to be inconsistent with posting. Really, I ended up having no time other than to work, travel, and sleep for the past few months. Will be back at it soon, hopefully everybody will stick around!

    -Savage
