Yes...
I just wanna say I hope we limit the moves to 5 per week and have the draft the last week of March.
Waiver wire time is usually 2 days.
Trade deadline, a week or 2 before playoffs.
8 playoff spots, no bye weeks.
Minimum innings... would prefer between 20-25 to make people use all thier pitchers.
Just suggestions

I'm up for 6 playoff spots. can be done like the NFL does it, with top 2 getting a bye. I feel like 8 is too many and 4 is too few. I'd prefer 4 to 8 though. Over half the teams should not be in the playoffs IMO.
Waiver wire can just be default yahoo. It think it's like 2 or 3 days.
Draft, anything from mid-march on works.
Trade deadline: anywhere between mid- to end of August is cool with me
dont really care about max innings. If we dont want to set one thats cool, if we do thats cool too. I have no preference there. Min. innings should at least be 13 IP IMO. that's roughly 2 starts I imagine.

Honestly I think we should go with keep 6 option. It's the best compromise between A and C since there was such a split in votes. It's not restricted by rounds but it's not as free as keep any.
If anyone has a huge deal with making it this way then let me know and we can try to alter it for a more appropriate compromise.

I like having holds, just another category that forces you to be competitive and stay active, because that's a whole category you could miss out on every week if you don't have any middle relievers.
But I do think that's probably too many pitchers. If we've got 3 P spots instead of 4 it still gives you room in the lineup for 3 starters and 4 relievers without thinning out the talent pool as much.Braves - Falcons - Hawks

yeah I assumed we were having holds when I made this outline. 112 pitchers is not that much.
Top 3 starters off each MLB team = 90 pitchers
Top 2 bullpen guys off each MLB team = 60 pitchers
That's 150 pitchers. Maybe we can knock off 1 pitcher spot but I think knocking off two of them is too many.

How about we knock one of them off and make the other P a RP since we are probably going to have holds. I think starting 4 starting pitchers a night is more then enough.
I would like holds. I think it ads a nice dynamic to the league. However I don't think we need that many regular pitching spots.Last edited by saaltydog; 02-05-2010 at 04:40 PM.

I think the keep 6 option is what we're doing. The poll was so split, I just kinda felt like the keep 6 option was the best compromise between them all. It's not too restricted like the rounds but it's not too open like pick any 5.
If that's not cool we can try to work something else out. I want to make sure everyone is ok with this.
Edit:
That's what you voted for anyway so im assuming you're ok with it
