Havana, Panama, Cartagena or Medellin, for 2 weekends and a week over Thanksgiving? Cant do Caribbean outside of Cuba because all the flights go through Miami. Everything is doubled in price. Can do Cuba for 480 bucks, but have to potentially get audited when I get back lol. Medellin is safe now, but not much to do but try and pull a paisa. Cartagena's beach blows. Not really sure what Id do in Panama. I guess I could goto Costa Rica. Id goto Rio but I need to get a visa, and im already paying accelerated, fees to renew my passport when I get back from the DR in 3 weeks.

Traveling alone is fun as ****. Im using Duolingo to learn spanish. But people speak too fast.

Advice: The Indians are going to be awfully tough in October if Salazar keeps throwing like this; he's allowed five runs and amassed a 46/9 K/BB ratio in 32 1/3 innings since coming off the disabled list.

Hyun-Jin Ryu was tagged for three earned runs, seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision Saturday against the Padres.

Advice: Ryu threw just 68 of his 108 pitches for strikes. The good news is he hasn't suffered a loss over his past eight outings dating back to June 5, but he also has won just twice during the span. Ryu will look to get back in the win column when he works opposite Matthew Boyd in an interleague road start next Saturday in Detroit.

Would love to use this as an opportunity to reiterate the fact that drafting well is overrated af. Even in fairly deep leagues like this one there are solid plays on the wire and good waiver pickups trump drafting. IMO recipe for success is to not rely on a good draft, using the waiver wire well and trading to refine/perfect your squad.

All y'all stacking draft picks next season...plz keep doing that.

1-11 today with an outside shot of still flipping some offensive categories compared to 0-12 and being buried completely in every category pretty much ending my season

The purge has at least extended my chances by a few days even if there is work to do.


You're just mad next week you have to face me with my offense revamped and you'll have to work for a W instead of getting a free pass. At the end of the day 7th place still puts you in the consolation bracket with me so I wouldn't talk sh*t
