Lol'd. The maker of shoes since he changed his approach and started throwing his splitter:
I know you aren't too good at math, but that's a 2.3x ERA and an 88:9 K:BB ratio in his last 76 or so innings

well im obviously not going to try and trade a contender one of my catchers now unless I sustain a bad injury.

Gonna be pissed if the Yankees trade both Chapman and Miller to the Cubs for Schwarber. I realize he is built for Yankee Stadium but he's atrocious in the field. He has DH written all over him.
Yankees could get more value by splitting them up. Would rather trade one and get Gallo. Then trade the other for something else.Last edited by saaltydog; 07-18-2016 at 07:07 PM.

fukin love schwarber. that would be an awesome move. though i personally think the yanks could do things a bit differently rather than get rid of chapman and miller
thing is..if he goes to cubs, miller deserves closing spot. i dont think the cubs will put him there cause rondon's been awesome and seems like it'd cause a clubhouse rift if he's moved off the spot.
totally agree about splitting them up though. there's no way schwarber deserves both of them

dam* baez is looking good. calm and cool at the plate. everything controlled. not overmatched at all
this is just against lefties...but i portend a breakout soon
i havent seen him against righties lately

Completely agree with you there. I know Schwarber showed a lot of power last year at the plate....BUT...it was 69 games and he struck out a lot. Plus that defense.... People have gotten a little carried away with him and I think the market is over valuing him. Not that he isn't a good player, but he's got hype around him now. A lot of it and more so than he deserves. You'll be paying for a bit of hype like the Cubs and Cards paid for the hype of Heyward (lol)
I really think you could do better for Chapman and Miller.
As someone of a team who also needs a 3B I'm also a fan of Gallo. He's one of only a few that has a high ceiling and is near ready at third. He'll definitely need some patience (so maybe NYY isn't the best place for him lol) but you guys have enough to go out and get him for sure.

Speaking of 3B's, where in the fukk did Jake Lamb's power come from boyos? I always saw him as a 25HR ceiling guy and expected closer to 15-20 bombs and then he goes off and is second in the majors in slugging right now. Dude has been murdering the ball, leads all 3B in LD velocity. Apparently he changed his swing in the offseason...hopefully he keeps it up, him and goldie is a joocy combo. Too bad the pitching staff is a total dumpster fire and it's just another wasted season.
You sure bro? All that swing and miss in his game really screams future batting champ to me.Sun Devils - Cardinals - Suns - Dbakes - Yotes

Ive loved lamb. He was jipped before and then got hurt that year..
Hes also better against lefties than they say. He hit lefties and righties equally in the minors. Hes a scapegoat for dbacks having too many players on their roster and getting playing time for drury
He should be starting against both

I watched Foltys start at work today. He is definitely progressing. The most enamoring thing about him is his ability to carry the velocity deep into games. He is a starter all the way and if he continues to progress with his command he has the ability to be a 1. Cant say the same for Wisler.

Brotha Jenkins solid outing.
Needs to cut down on walks but I'll take it.
He was my guy back in the spring. Was high on him, thought they'd give him an opening day rotation spot but they never gave him a chance to even pitch in spring.
Injuries and Blair sucking ass and here he is.
Whatever it takes I guess.
Hopefully they hold on for his first career W

Also you mirin that beating heart of Minnesota Eduardo Nunez?
Still raking
Can't believe you contenders are literally gonna leave the best trade piece available untouched like this.
I know hes no Ryan Bruan in name or anything but man if I'm trying to win 2016 I don't know if there's a guy I'd rather have that was on the block in this league.
You know I'm gonna be showcasing him the next 3.5 weeks though so pepper yourself for lots of posts cause he's Mr multi-hit

Houston Astros scouts watching Pineda pitch last night. Would lol hard @ Mel if Astros trade Bregman to the Yankees for Pineda and Chapman.
