wrist size = 6.25"
ankle size = 8.25"
( small measurements )
my question is , are these 2 measurements the be all end all in relation to knowing wether u have large medium or small bones ?
because everywherer other than these 2 places it seems that my bone structure is reasonably big , like ive got wide / thick shoulder bones ( clavicle ) , and my waist / hip / pelvic /upper leg structure is also quite wide and thick ...
so is it possible 2 have a mix of thick and thin bones ?? or is that impossible
cheers

just measured my wrists and ankles, i was relatively interested. i do know my writsts are small i think my ankles are average:
wrists: 7 inches (cold)
ankles: 9.25 inches (cold)
i'm in general a pretty narrow guy, i don't have to broad shoulders, i have a thin waist, i have thin wrists, and ankles.. but i put on muscle fairly well and always have had a thick upper arm, chest, and leg area. i think the wrist and ankle measurments are a pretty good idea at how thick your bone structure is, but its not the "all end all" factor as you described. like i said i had naturally kinda thick limbs in ratio to my wrist and ankle sizeLast edited by broken_steel; 01-21-2010 at 03:16 PM.
Strength is size.

Wrists: 6.5"
Ankle: 8"
I have broad shoulders and a tiny waist, although my frame is very delicate overall.
Those with large bone structures are the ones capable of adding the most muscle to their frames, although well developed small-boned brehs tend to look more aesthetic. The articles over at weighttrainer.net go on and on about relating bone structure to bodybuilding though if you're interested in learning more.

Ya, Ive seen a bunch of things that calculate your "ideal" measurements based off wrist size. It will never be perfect but I heard some well proportioned old skool bodybuilders used something like this ( dont know their names).
To OP, I guess its possible to have a mixed bone structure. Dont really know too much though.

thanks 4 the reply
we differ in that i wudnt call my structure delicate , ive got a thick and wide torso / wide shoulders ( like straight up and down kinda look, like jason strathom, as apposed to the V taper ur describing ) / and thick pelvis , upper leg and bones ...
so goin by that info ud think id have medium/large bones , but then the wrist and ankle are small ?? so confused lol , wish i was just big all over the show lol
ne1 out there like me ???
