That's the cool thing about it, hey? You make it once and then you can keep it going forever! It was a little runny when Stephen's mom made it, but it sure tasted good! I will have to do that- Each 650g tub I bought yesterday cost ~5 dollars, and only lasts a few days :/
I found greek yogurt in the supermarket for the first time yesterday! It's pricey though. It was 5 dollars for 500g of yogurt ! But it had 20g of protein in 100g! Crazy! Quark is over $6 for 500g. Wow. I think I'm gonna have to be rich when I grow up
And no kidding! I was 2 pounds lighter today. MOAR food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup. Woke up thinking "Nah, I won't weigh myself today. It's a few days before my period (did I mention I don't have the monthly munchies this month?) so I'll probably be up a few pounds." Then I said "Aw, f*ck it. It'll be interesting to see how much I actually do gain the week before."
I was 118lbs! Holy moly! I ate about 2100 calories yesterday And about 280g of carbs That's everyday for me now though. OOOoooo the energy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love carbs
So, today is hammie day. I will have to take it easy on deadlifts today because my lower back is sooooooo sore. I'm afraid I have to SLDL 145-150 lbs today. It hurts already
I might substitute good mornings for something else today too. But I will toast my hammies somehow, and my biceps- no doubt about that Studying this morning, then doing my workout, then later this evening we are possibly going out to play pool and have a few drinks. Should be fun
Oh, sorry I've been being a journal nazi. I am just so busy! When will it end!!!!!????????? Two assignments due this week in accounting and microeconomics, plus I have midterms coming up :/Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

This was a tough workout. My back was feeling tired so I only increased my deadlifts by 5lbs. Which is better than nothing though, right? They were tough as hell. And I did 20 lunges on each leg for two sets, and after the third set of 15- what’s that, 55 lunges per leg?-I felt soooo nauseous I thought I was going to puke. I left out good mornings cause my back was toast anyway, and I felt very sick I’m hoping it goes away before tonight
Hamstring Dominant, Quads Accessory, Biceps, Calves:
Stiff legged Deadlifts- (5x5)
90x5
125x5
145x5 (+5 lbs)
145x5
145x5
145x5
145x5
Barbell Curls- (5x5)
58x5 (+3 lbs )
58x5
58x4
58x4
58x3
Backwards Lunges- One leg at a time (3x12-20)
55x20 each leg (+ 5 reps)
55x20 each leg (+5 reps)
55x15 each leg
Incline Hammer Curls- (3x8-12)
10x12 (This first set was regular incline curls. Then I changed it) (+2 reps)
15x7
15x7
10x8
Ugh. I’m tired and woozy. I don’t feel good at all. So I’m chewing on some good post-workout carbs/protein and hoping the ickyness will subside. I’ve got plans for this evening. I must regain my energy. Sooo shaky. This took 1 hour and 12 minutes and I burned 465 calories.Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

A 5 lb SLDL increment is good, since it isolates the hams.
Negged for not doing good mornings.

Sorry you are feeling icky again I hate this time of year, everyone gets sick.
Nice job on the SLDLs! Food and a good program seems to be agreeing with you.If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Thanks! It was more of a nauseous feeling from the high reps though, and besides that, my stomach has been feeling off lately anyway. It faded away, eventually
Yes! Food and program is good! Though I think I'm going to have to change something soon to be able to keep progressing. It's getting harder and harder.
Why thank you
Thanks!
It's pretty sweet! I am one happy Lori

Whoo. I had a bit of a rough night last night Didn't do too bad though. I got 7 hours of sleep and I feel a little dehydrated but other than that, I feel alright. I don't think today will be very productive though! Oh well, it was fun
Diet wise I ate about 2000 cals, or just below. I am going to concentrate on drinking plenty of salty liquids (soup ) and gatoradee today so I will be able to have an awesome workout tomorrow. It is Horizontal push/pull! I need all the strength I can muster if I want to beat my records from my previous workout. Ack, this is tough. Every workout is getting harder and harder to progress, I'm nearly killing myself ttrying to get even one extra rep half the time! Damn, I drank all my gatorade.....I thought I had more left than that.......Anyways, increasing carbs is out of the question I might go over my cals for the past few weeks and average them oout, see what they come to. Then add some more calories.
Anyways, I'm going to go play video games until this afternoon. Then I'm going to have some popcorn and watch Rocky Balboa It's the sixth one, where Selvester Stallone is ~60 years old and trains doing squats and other exercises. I'm intrigued
I will show some journal love later today!!!!!!! Hope everyone is well!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

My first time watching it...It was pretty good! Yeah, school's been kind of busy I have to go soon and do lots of school work. Bleck. 7 hours was pretty good! Usually when we go out I get way less than that. I was still just as tired all day though And thanks! You too
Stall out= more food lol! You can do it too!!!!
An occasional bum day is much needed sometimes. We only get one a week, if that, but it sure is enjoyable!
Oh wow! Are you going to come back to journaling when you're all finished??? Did you find another program yet??? And thank-youTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed reading it
We did play pool for about 5 minutes! We started playing and got a jug of beer, but then one of our friends ran into two of his friends and they said they were going to get one of them "screeched in" (with screech, and kissing the cod fish and other Newfoundland stuff...apparently it's tradition for newcomers to Newfoundland) at a nearby pub in a few minutes. So we had to chug our beers and run down there. Then we had more drinks and watched the strangest thing There was a man singing newfie songs to the foreigners and making them repeat stuff and everyone in the pub was singing along, and the foreigners looked so confused and laughed the whole time...I had no idea things like that even happened here! It was interesting I was very drunk

Okie dokie. I was tired yesterday and didn't do ANYTHING because I was so toast. My appetite was gone as well so I only got 1650 calories in. But starting today I am aiming for an even 2000 calories, everyday. I know I have been eating that much and more already, but it hasn't been consistent. Ever since I started taking pills for acid reflux I'm been having difficulties with having an appetite. I hardly ever feel hungry now. So, that will mean taking other measures to ensure I get the cals in, even when I don't want to eat. I mean, I'm not doing bad. My weekely averages for the last two weeks were 1950 calories, but yesterday might have dragged that last number down a bit....It was the last day of that week. So, 2000 even for the next few weeks.
I really have to go study now, journaling is very time consuming ! 15 minutes already. Gotta go! Horizontal push/pull today! Means more benching! Must get 90lbs for all sets of 5 this time! I was soooo close!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Well, I had to post-phone my workout for today due to there not being a window in my workout room Stephen's Dad had to fix it, so there was quite the bit of construction on the go down there. It's all finished now though. I didn't want to wait around all day not knowing if it was going to be finished or not, so I went hill running It was fun! I ran up many hills. And down and up again! Very good leg workout. My HR was practically at its maximum the whole time I burned something like 350 calories in around 40 minutes. It was intense!
Then when I got back, I washed and went mad cleaning the bedroom. And then I continued working on my assigment. Only spent 7 hours on it so far today Gone to eat my supper and vegg. Can't wait for tomorrow's workout
Ugh....So full....must....finish....supper....Must be all the veggies? I love my veggies. I guess my stir-fry had too manyLast edited by gobbles23; 10-04-2010 at 01:42 PM.

You can so do that bench press! It's going to be a piece of cake!
Interesting to see that you got drunk. I think now that you've upped your cals you've become a little more carefree. It's nice to see you let loose! (Not just with drinking but with everything)Daily Journal:

Thanks for the encouragement
Oh, I do enjoy getting drunk every now and then, dieting or not But it usually makes my training suffer because of the dehydration and lack of sleep so I don't do it very often.....Now Christmas time will be a different story. My brother is coming back for a total of 5 days. Our friends will be back at the same time, and we don't get together very often. It is going to be one week-long bash. I am going to have to train super hard the weeks before, and take that week off training And do IFTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers
