Wowza - You're looking good, girl.
I agree with everyone who posted before me - you've got a great base to build the muscle on and your back is kicking.

^^Thanks guys!! I hope now that I am following a program, I can get a whole lot more muscle growth on the go.
*BODY WEIGHT UPDATE* I weighed myself today. Apparently I am 123 lbs. I weighed myself on the crappy scale for consistency, but now that I know my weight was consistent, I will begin using the new scale which has me weighing in at a few pounds less. So if next week I say I am 120, I never lost weight, I just used that scale, and will continue to do so from now on. Wow. I never would have imagined that it would be somewhat difficult to gain weight. Average calories for last week were 2078. Week before, again, were 2016. So I will try to average them out to be 2100 this week and next week. And then see what happens. I have to mentioned, I'm surprised I got as far as I did eating as little as I did in the past few years...Not that I got very far..More like I'm surprised I got ANYWHERE....Had I have known, I'd probably be crazy right now!! Anyways, heavy workout later today!!! SO excited!!!! Will she bench 80lbs more than 3 times today!???
My laptop broke. Using ps3. Sucks. Post workout later....Last edited by gobbles23; 02-22-2010 at 12:22 PM.

Stupid broken laptop...I squatted 145 times today. Did drop sets on rows and bench. Might not be able to post for a while. Typing on ps3 takes forever. This took about 10 mins.......Yup....Not happy....

Thanks! I had to fight for each rep. The last two were especially slow and gruellling. I thought my back was going to crack in two! My laptop should be fixed in about a week...The jack is cracked off inside so I can't charge it anymore....Minor problem....have to record meals by hand now..

Whew! 40 minutes later... I realized last workout that 75lbs is my 5 rep max for bench pressing, so instead of trying 80 for 5 and getting it twice, I figured I'd do 75lbs five times, finish off with drop sets, and then try for 80lbs three times on Friday (medium workout) and then 5 times on Monday. I should be able to do it then. I'm going to steal someones computer so I can post my workout shortly...

I am a bit out of the loop these days but I watched a lot a couple years back, need to start up again. I started off with the original Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and some of GT, Inyuasha, Evagelion (only the Japanese version), Escalflowne (same only Japanese), Ruroni Kenshin, Basilisk, Fruits Basket, Those Who Hunt Elves, Ronin Warriors, Gundam Wing, Record Lodoss War, Bleach of course and there are some others lol. What are some that you watch?
Oh if you have a spare keyboard that is usb you can hook it up to your PS3 for faster typing. If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

i was wondering, how do you deal with the 2.5% increments on weight? you go to the gym right? did you get chains or what?? do you just round up to 5 lb increments??

I have the perfect link for you but I can't post unless I am on a computer but I will definitely get it for you today. It has every question you can think of about the program answered for you. You can play around with the spreadsheet a little. My bench, row, and military press increase by 5lbs each week, squats and deads increase by 10lbs each week. I had to slightly alter the spreadsheet so the intervals went by 5 and 10 so they weren't 78 or 97.... Later I will get on a computer and try to explain things a bit more, and give you that link.(smiley face)

Alright!! Computer access! The unfortunate thing is, the do recommend only squating with back squats. I had to buy a bench to do squats on because the weight for squats increases so much in such a short amount of time that you will have difficulty progressing without one. 10 lbs each week, I went from 80lbs to 155lbs in not very long. It really pushes you past what you thought were your limits. What I did was buy a $100 bench and I take the backrest part of it off everytime I need to squat. The frame declines, so you have enough room to get under the rack in a squat position...Once I get my laptop working, I can show you a picture. You don't need an expensive squat rack... There's a FAQ below, its geared towards the stronglifts 5x5 program, but I think it will apply to madcows as well. Its what I use for guidance. Ita an awesome link. It talks about doing front squats instead of back squats, as well as lots of other things.

If you look at the speadsheet that I posted a few pages back, it should help you set it up. I never really read anything, I just plugged my 5 rep maxes into the spreadsheet using the 1-5 rep max calculator, and changed the to increase by by 5-10 pounds, and lowered the % to increase by...I kind of skipped the first few weeks because I was already on a full body routine and the weight used for the first 4 weeks of 5x5 I had already been using for a few weeks. So I skipped ahead a little. I can understand you trying to understand the program first though. Its the smart thing to do I was just impatient. Did you download the spreadsheet yet? Once you do that, it will make everything a lot clearer for you. If you have any more questions, I will try my best you help you outLast edited by gobbles23; 02-24-2010 at 05:19 AM.

I satrted off watching dragon ball z too! I used to draw pictures of characters when I was younger. I haven't drawn in years now though. Kind of miss it! I am in the process of watching Rurouni Kenshin (love it) And I saw Fruits basket (hilarious) and Basilisk (one of my favourites!) and Inuyasha (I only saw the first two seasons) I have also seen Claymore. It is my all time favourite anime!! It's AWESOME! You have to watch it! And I saw Samurai Champloo, Samurai 7, Ninja Scroll, Tsubasa, Fate Stay Night, Shakugan no Shana, soo many more!!! I love my anime!!!!!
