Scratch the creatine. The best supplement for endurance is beta-alanine. I would take it morning/pre & post workout. I usually split up my dosage. 2 grams in the morning, 2 grams before I workout, and 2 grams after I workout. Sometimes I take all 6 grams pre workout.
NOW Beta-Alanine is going to be the best deal you'll find on this site. 1/2 tsp = 2grams. I'd suggest you only take 4 grams. Do not follow the instructions on NOWS beta-alanine container if you do purchase it. They suggest taking like 12grams or something absurd just so you go through the product faster and purchase more. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/now/betaalanine.html

MAN Body Octane is a stim-free, creatine-free pre-workout energizer that aids greatly in aerobic endurance, recovery and suppressing lactic acid. Plus it is a non-proprietary formula so you know exactly how much of each ingredient you are getting
I added this to my regiment for triathlon training years ago and have not found a product that works as well

I think you'd be better off researching what foods will help you rather than supplements since there is nothing that will be guaranteed to help. I saw some one list creatine... do NOT take creatine. If you participate in distance events as you said, which utilize aerobic energy mechanisms, creatine will serve no purpose and you will be wasting your money.

If you're a long distance runner why would you even want to choose something other than a carbohydrate based product. Everything you just mentioned above is all stimulant based besides the creatine of course. So after 15min of training you'll crash since all you have stimulated is the mind. Stimulants are not a source of fuel for muscle, carbohydrates are. If you're looking to use a carb that will help you run longer at a higer rate then Vitargo is what you need. I dont know how long you run for but you can consume up to 1200 calories of Vitargo in an HOUR with ZERO stomach discomfort and ZERO bloating. Vitargo works faster than maltodextrin based products like Hammer, cytosport and endurox.
Vitargo is viturally BONK PROOF!!! If you want something that you will feel on your very first use and see a reduction in your run times this is it!!!

I don't have any experience with distance running, but I do some reasonably long-distance bike rides (a lot of 150 mile rides, never quite broken 200, but I've gotten close) and I feel like taking a few grams of L-carnitine before heading out has helped keep me going strong after a few hours. The most important supplement for me, however, is "no salt" salt substitute (potassium chloride); I just put that on food all the time and I find it cuts down a lot on cramping on long rides.

I think Beta-Alanine would be your best bet, as increasing carnosine levels really helps to lower the lactic acid 'burn' which should allow you to push a bit further. Ive always liked beta-alanine/'carnosine boosters' for endurance type activity's oppose to weight lifting, not that it wouldn't help aswell.

Who is she and how can she increase my endurance? I am interested in finding out. PM me.
How the heck did it take until post #19 for somebody to actually recommend something with a carb source? This guy is a long distance runner. To be completely honest, depending on what specific distance is being referenced by "long-distance," Gatorade (or any source of simple sugar) is probably going to increase performance more than any combination of things listed here.
Not saying they aren't worthwhile, but people throwing these things out would be doing him a better service by including carbs as the first and foremost priority for increasing performance, and possibly adding one of these products to that base.
Out of everything listed here, I would probably go with Body Octane mixed with Gatorade (or your preferred carb source), or Poseidon under the same conditions.*SCC*
