    with bulking can you still get a built figure?

    Im currently bulking/ trying to gain muscle mass. my workout plan is obviously one that is for increasing muscle mass. but im just wondering, your obviously putting on weight, but can you still get ripped while doing so and weight lifting? because im currently 6'0, 140 pounds, 18 years old. im trying to get bigger, so will i have to first bulk and then cut, or do i just need to bulk while weight lifting to get that ripped look and be bigger? my goal is 160 pounds

    youll inevitably gain a few unwanted pounds, but the muscle gains will be wayyyy worth it in the end.
    if you get to that point, your mindset is obviously strong enough to shed those couple pounds at the end.

    dont be afraid to gain a little flab for a few months, i bulked from 175 to 220.
    ive already cut to 205 and i look like i did when i was 180lbs.
    it just takes time, which is something a lot of people are not willing to give

    Don't worry about being ripped. Just bulk up. 99% of the kids who want to be ripped need to bulk up. (Me being one, on the road to 220 then 210 lean.) Just gotta be a man and not care about having "abs" for a while.

    160 pounds isnt skinny man, its a perfectly healthy weight for someone at 6'0, being 18. i want to reach 160 first, and THEN ill set my next weight goal after.

    Im going to have to disagree. The general public would think that 6'/160 is healthy, but we have higher expectations than that! I feel I was skinny at 185 in my earlier years of college, but I was about 165 when I graduated highschool and looking back on that, that's now way too skinny in my current mindset. Even my gf was like "Yea, you were pretty thin back then!"
