Pickle juice has been a secret trend in many sports for years. The combination of salt and other ingredients make it a great supplement of electrolytes and prevents cramping, similar to sports drinks. I tend to sip some or consume a few pickles after an intense workout. It doesn't have the calories of traditional sports drinks either, but be careful not to overuse it. Like any acidic liquid, it can become a bother to your stomach and GI tract.

Isn't it just vinegar?
------------------------
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Matthew 22:36-40
