Couple possible scenarios to ponder...
- Will Hannah rat out Dexter for who he is? Although we see him getting arrested so that may not be of concern since Laguerta was already onto him
- The "surprise mothafucka", I have two theories
(1) It's Doakes and he's back. IDK why they'd have waited this long, maybe has to do with his shady dealings from season 1 when he shot the guy and Batista covered for him, they left that open I thought (correct me if I missed something, wasn't as dialed into the show as I am now). The coroner said the body in the water after the cabin explosion was a black male, but whose to say it was truly Doakes.
(2) It's a dream Dexter has"If you can't find something to live for, you best find something to die for"

Well now it's 100% clear that Dexter won't actually get caught by the police, since they showed it happening in the preview... It's just going to be in his mind just like how in the preview they showed Dexter killing Vince and it turned out to only be in his mind.
They wouldn't show something as big as the death of a main character, and something as big as Dexter actually getting caught in a preview, unless this was just imagined by Dexter...
And seriously lol@ anyone who actually thinks Doakes is alive.... I loved him as a character but if he were actually alive, that would be some of the worst writing for a TV show i have ever seen. There is NO WAY he could have survived that blast i mean you see him Disintegrate......
