I will just use to motivate me. I am currently two months into my bulk 201 12%-15% BF. I am doing a five day split one week and a 4 day split the next. I am consuming 3800 calories a day on training days and 3500 on off days. About 50% carbs 25% protein and 25% fats. Most fats are from red meat peanut butter and fish. carbs are from oatmeal and brown rice, Sometimes white rice and potatoes. Protein is mostly fish red meat and 3 shakes a day mixed with milk. I have a cheat day every 4 days but eat clean other than that. My comp is in oct so this is going to be a long ride.

Dude, awesome Solid Routine. If all goes as planned you will kick muscle man. You'll get 1st place novice and will win the over all ......think like a winner and you will be a winner dude. It's good o'l hard work that will get you places. August is plenty of time to get you built well. Kudos!

I hope so. If I can bring these damn legs up and get in the condition scooby has been known to get people in I may have a pretty good chance. My back and my wheels are my main goals right now. Having this log has completly fired me up. I am training, dieting and trying to work harder than the next guy. We will see in october. My expectations are to get my feet wet. Trust me I would absolutely love to win. But even to place well will make me happy. There are a lot of good competitors out here working as hard as I am. Thanks for the support though. I believe I can win if I get absolutely shredded. Im talking striated glutes are my goal. My qauds are pretty good but I have really neglected my hams. I am now doing three different exercises for them. They should grow pretty good seeing as I neglected them for so long.

If your hams are a true problem I suggest splitting legs into a quad and ham day. nothing brought my hams up better from 2008 to 2009 Jr Nats than splitting the days. Here is a shot showing my ham drop and prior, well, I had none.

Im certainly not saying there isnt more room for improvement, but splitting them gave me that drop that you need from the side, now Im aiming to make it even better.

    I did it like this.

hams/back thickness since I was already doing SLDL I figured why not add some rack deads too or full deads.

    Quads/back width.

Then fill in the other bodyparts. Two things you can never have enough of are back width (which I still need more of) and back thickness (again still need more). And good legs.

Good Luck, Ill keep dropping by.

Sounds great. Will do. I was actually going to try something like this. I can see the split on my right leg but not my left. I think it has more to do with mind muscle connection. I am working on it. They are not really that bad. I just want to bring them and my back up so I can step up in weight. I like my back thickness. I want some really wide lats though. I have been going wide on a lot of things trying to prioritize this area. I recently read dorian yates said that is a myth that he never went wide but I think he is a genetic freak so he might just not be considering this.

Hey man everything looks pretty solid to me man. I think bulking is the easier part of contest prep. Its cutting that gets a little tricky.

Well I am about to get banned because the same 5 teenagers are following my posts and negging me everyday. I was just giving my thoughts on phils food poisining and stating facts and quotes from the new MD from Kai greene and they are saying I am A lying troll. So I probably will not be on here much longer. My journal is not as good as a lot of the others anyway so you wont be missing much. I dont see why they let 16 year olds do this on here.

Personally I think the kids should stay in the teen area (there is one).
If they come over here they should just look, learn, and lisson. Then take the knowledge back to teen area. They don't have enough real world experience/knowledge to argue with experienced builders. Especially in the comp prep area. UNLESS they have done some not one but some comps in teen class.

It is like me going on a running site and preaching to the athletes on there.

Well put. I just stated that phil had food poisoning and lost to Kai by one point. Then I put some quotes from the MD jan 2010 Kai interveiw where he bsically says Jay was handed his title because he was a past champion. Thay also claimed Phils stomach was distended when in the vids it clearly was not. I am by no means a judge or pro bodybuilder. I have gone to shows and been training for five years. I am tired of being called every name under the sun and having my intelligence insulted. Why do they not get banned. They even call me names on my bodyspace and claim I weigh 140 and have 20%bf. I usually would not care but the fact I am about to get banned when I have finally found other people that are interested in the same thing I am bugs me. No one that I know is interested in bodybuilding. They all say I am a homo and take steroids. Its obvious jealousy but I felt I had found fellow bodybuilders who love the sport and are dedicated. It was nice seeing naturals and you guys gave me hope so THX.

Its not just here. I got band from a car site thanks to kids. They wine, cry till they get there way, or they push you till you blow up even if you are normaly a mello person and then they turn you in at that one time blow up. It is sad how kids have so much power now days.

OK. I sent the administrator a message about these kids and how a guy with no pics or posts that had 35,000 rep power negged me. I said it was obviously modded and asked them to reset my rep and all of sudden I am green. I will no longer argue with teenagers. Lesson learned.
