^^^Holy crap is that real life? O/T question - isn't that a big NOOOO to feed your small kid juice in its crib cause it would wreck their teeth? All I know is the dentist gets mad at me cause I drink orange juice at all and it's supposedly very bad for you in that aspect. They are very anti-fruit lol. From what they say, the world will explode if you eat/drink anything and don't brush your teeth 5 sec later, they kinda scare me. That box says "stew and cocoa" ok this can't be real life.
LMAO at that giant squirrel looking thing in the bakery.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I have ten weeks of training for the new job and you are not supposed to miss anytime during that period and I had to take two days of because I was so sick. Thankfully the company seems awesome and only gave me a verbal warning, I called in everyday that I missed and caught myself up on the training so its all good. I guess I got used to working in call centers that will bounce you out the door at a moments notice lol.
I know there is so much crap out there its crazy! All I really want is a crib, car seat, stroller, bottles, diapers, wipes, maybe a breast bump since I will be going back to work after six weeks and clothes. I will check out craigs list, the only issue is there is a massive perv in the area that responds to all baby related posts and asks if you have a used breast pump and if you could demonstrate it for him and if his wife can try it out Some people are just stupid.
I head my biweekly check up on the 27th and everything looks good. Blood pressure is 106/68, my bellies measuring 34cm and I've lost some weight back down to 174ish on my scale and 181.4 on their scale fully clothed and with heavy boots on so probably 176-178ish. Also the swelling that was going on has stopped which I'm not complaining about I was cleared to take Pepcid AC for the next two weeks to see if it can control my heart burn, took one dose last night and so far I had very minor symptoms so I'm hopeful.
It's pretty crazy how much all the baby supplies cost... And baby clothes are pretty cute, but to spend all that money on an outfit that's only going to fit for a couple of months seems ludicrous to me. It doesn't cost that much to make baby clothes, people - keep the prices reasonable!! A breast pump sounds like a good idea (another expensive thing haha). Oh my...
Also - it's pretty awesome that you're doing so well with your weight! I hope the heart burn calms down. Hopefully the ability to take something will help a bit. I've heard that sometimes the last part of pregnancy is way easier than the first half. Can you vouch for that? Haha.

Happy new year to you Erica! I know that you have such an amazing year ahead of you, I'm so excited for you and this next chapter of your life about to happen
Glad to see your docs appointment went well, sorry to read you've been so under the weather but glad that the new job has been pretty good about it! It's hard when you have so much stress on your body as it is to be worrying about all of the other logistics when you are sick and pregnant.

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA a lot more than usual. I've been lurky lukerton though and have kept up with you all on my phone. I would post on my breaks at work but my phone does not like that damn android app for bb.com, so posting on it is a waste of time.
Over the past couple of weeks I've seen a huge decrease in energy and its hard when I'm used to being able to do what I want. I will get home from work, change clothes, do a little house work, make dinner and pass the eff out at around 8-9pm. Good news is I'm sleeping a lot more than before so that's a huge plus I'm in pain a lot now, feels like someone has kicked me in the groin and it never goes away, I turn in my sleep it hurts and I wake up, I walk too fast and it aggravates the hell out of it, forget about doing a lot of exercise.
I have been walking every break at work though and I will pick up my 15lb body bar and do some RDL's, OHP, GM, bicep curls and then grab some DBS and so some lateral raises, rows and tricep extensions. I've been stretching and doing some prenatal yoga poses that are supposed to help with keeping the spine in good shape and helps with the pain in my groin. I know that the groin pain may be TMI but got dam does it freaking hurt!
I have just about a month left and I am all like On one hand I can't wait to have my body back, the pain, heart burn and flexibility issues are not fun and I am so over it but on the other I'm scared to be responsible for a little helpless baby. The good news is Jim has started the process of quitting smoking and since he needs to keep his hands busy he's been cleaning non stop for the past week lol. So now I don't need to worry about that.
I've caught up with some of ya all's journals and plan on doing more tonight. I'm currently in the middle of redoing my hair and after that we are going out to exchange a pair of pants, grocery shop and get some lunch.
For now I leave you this gem that I found

Hahaha I can't see your vid until I can watch from home. No worries about scaring me with anything though hahaha!
I know how you are feeling with that last month exhaustion. It's just what comes with the end of the road. You should try to do some reading on hypnobirthing while you are trying to relax. I did it with my first and it got me through many hours of pain with no epidural (I won't scare you with how long I was in labor with both of my kids haha!) I will say even if you plan to get an epidural the breathing and relaxation techniques of hypnobirthing can really help you until you get there. And practicing can help relax you now too

Aw thanks Lori! I am a little afraid, not sure whats gonna happen but I'm hoping for some instant relief once its over I will probably do the epidural since I'm a pansy lol.
The job is still going well. They switched some stuff on us mid training but so far not too bad!
My day the other day was just blah, I missed a deadline for ordering books online for school so now I have to pay out of pocket instead of with my financial aid. The school didn't bother to announce said deadline and I woke up in a bnch of pain. today wasn't nearly as bad and now its Friday!
Thanks MM! I will look into that for sure! I am already breathing deeply and exhaling slowly when something hurts and seems to help. Sometimes I just wish they could put me in a medical comma until I have to give birth, that would be awesome
My sister had a 72 hour delivery with my niece and both of her deliveries had complications so I've been traumatized already lol.
Hey Mrs.Fizz!
Day ended soso but the last couple of days have been better
ROFLAO at that gif! Dude you can so open the door, let me show you lol.
So yesterday I came home to a wonderful surprise from my bb.com/Amazon sisters! I walk in and Jim was like "Where did this come from?" and there's a stroller that we put on the Babies-R-Us registry. I don't talk to him much about my activity on here. If I start talking about working out, nutrition and some of the humor on here and I can see his eyes glaze over lol. Once in a while he will read Misc. threads with me that are funny or have hilarious shops on them but other than that, not interested. Apparently his sister was eying it and sent him a text before it arrived to ask who bought, of course he had no idea and then 15 minutes later it was delivered lol.
I can not begin to express how truly grateful I am to you guys I would have posted here sooner but I had a Dr's appoint right after and errands to run. Seriously you guys brought tears to my eyes when I walked in and read the delivery notes. Special thanks to Swooshie for coordinating that whole thing!
I'm still lurking everyone's journals and I have a bunch of replies to write but that will come later. Some family is coming into to town I need to finish cleaning and run to the store. If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

I'm so glad it arrived and you like it I can only imagine your hubby's confusion when reading the card that listed all of our bb.com names!!! LOL! There should be a second shipment arriving too, if it hasn't already. Just two little things to get you started! We had a lot of fun doing it and, man, baby stuff has come a long way since I had my babies!
You'll be fine during labor and delivery. I know everyone wants to tell you the worst stories ever ... cannot figure that one out, but keep in mind when you're in labor that it truly will end! The hard thing about your first labor and delivery is the unknown. You're not sure what to expect since you've never been through it before. You'll do just fine .... wish I could be your Labor & Delivery nurse!
Have a great weekend, Echo!Caring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

My mom had that happen when I was born, dat 3 day delivery that ended up being a c section. She still brings it up every time I give her a hard time about something haha. Wow, its been a few days since I've been in my own journal I've been busy with work, school started and I've been staring at linear equations/algebraic graphing until my eyes bleed.
The weekend before last hubbies family came in with my mom and threw a little baby shower I was nice to have my mom come out, I wish my sisters were there along with a few close friends that are out there but oh well. It was nice to see some familiar faces
I finally got the last package from the virtual baby shower you all threw and put the stroller together which fits the car seat beautifully. I will post some pics of everything tomorrow so you can see it set up
So far things are going well, every check up the Dr is happy with my progress. I'm not very comfortable much anymore and I have the total pregnant waddle down lol. The cats are becoming obsessed with my tummy, I wake up with the kitten wrapped around it and the older one will lay on the pillow that I use under my belly and use my stomach as a pillow. He also looks mad that he cant crawl on my lap anymore. Silly kitties.Last edited by Echo814; 01-21-2013 at 07:39 PM.

Echo it's getting so close!!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! Those babies just love it in there, upside down or not, they never want to leave My first two kids were both over a week late and my third was born exactly on his due date ... and all three were born on a Sunday! I got to the hospital with my last one at 11:30pm on a Saturday night (walked in at 7cm!!! My poor L&D nurse checked me and had this horrified look on her face and ran out to page my doctor!! I waited to go in because I wasn't quite sure I was actually in labor ...duh!) and I told my doc that I had to wait until Sunday for him to be born ... sure enough I held out until 1 a.m. Sunday morning!
I remember so well how the last few weeks felt like the entire 9 months. Seemed like it took forever ... but once you get that baby in your arms you'll wonder how it all happened so fast!
