How can I increase my appetite?

I'm never hungry. I want to increase it but I'm not sure what I can do.

Some people get an increased appetite after cardio (some are the opposite) other than that - eat more calorie dense food? The obvious is to suck it up and just eat more, hate to say it.

    Quoted for truth.

I dunno man. I'm 2 weeks into my program and I already have something like twice the appetite. Push yourself harder, and your body will tell you that it NEEDS the food.

But for real, smoke a goddamn dubie and then healthy munchies ftw.

swimming keeps your body temperature lower than normal and this creates a ravenous appetite. If you don't believe me, just go swimming for cardio. You will get hungry. By the way, I see you're only 100 lbs so in your case I'm glad you want to eat more, but definitely don't take it for granted that you have a small appetite.... I wish I wasn't so psychologically impacted by food.

^^ this. when i used to take water group fitness classes in the early summer of '07, my appetite was above & beyond epic afterwards. i barely had enough stamina/energy to take a shower & get changed. but i'd have to eat my packed lunch immediately after i got changed; ... in the stall! yes. it was that bad. & heaven forbid if i had forgotten my packed lunch @ home; HEAVEN FORBID i'd have to walk the 15 minute walk home w/out having eaten my packed lunch 1st. shit!

Easy mode, eat more meals in the day. Start adding more food to each of the meals. This will allow you to increase your overall intake but also keep the size per meal smaller.

    You dont need to hungry.
A tbsp of PB willl not fill you up. If you ate 1 tbsp of PB every hour for the 16hrs you are awake, you would add 1350-1375 calories a day. Obviously you don't need to do that but adding calories isn't hard.

Make sure you eat breakfast - do it first thing when you wake up. This is the hardest meal for most. I find if I get a solid breakfast in I am hungry like clockwork from thereon out.

I know way to many people that don't eat breakfast and then go ALL day without eating. They will come home at night and then have one gigantic meal. Yeah real healthy...

    To increase your appetite:

    1. Drink a big glass of water first thing when you wake up (leave by your bed before sleep). Your body is dehydrated, and that shuts off your appetite. This makes a big difference.

    2. Eat a big breakfast. I mean BIG, aim for 1000 calories. This will set you up for the day. Major difference.

    3. Don't stop eating. Don't not eat because you are not hungry.

    4. Forcefeed yourself. the firstweek your body won't be happ, then it'll get used to it and you'll have an increased appetite.

    5. Calorie dense foods.

    6. Eat quickly. You have 20 minutes until your stomach can tell your brain it's full. Use them wisely by scarfing food.
