It's not a surprise that her district voted her into office.

It's absolutely stunning that she was allowed to continue as Speaker of the House, after her utter failure in leadership - Continued/expanded war in Iraq, record deficits/debt, and the lowest Congressional approval rating in history. That is the person the Democrats in Congress believed should be their voice, and their leader. Says a lot about the party, huh?

It was a failure of Harry Reid's leadership, not Pelosi's, to allow Senate Republicans to get away with only threats instead of bringing in the cots and forcing them to stand and talk on every bill.
