Looks like too much fat to me.
You have over 60 grams of fat off of just 3 meals, and also are getting more from the beef or eggs...
How many Cal is your diet for? I see at least 80 grams of fat daily...if you aren't eating 2500 Cal or more, this is probably too much fat.
Also, 3-4 eggs or tuna...those aren't interchangeable. The eggs have way more fat than tuna (if in spring water). If you eat the eggs, don't eat the peanut butter.Mark these words in the annals (no homo) of bodybuilding.com.

Bulking or cutting? What is you weight?
Are all of the "natural fats" from peanut butter? Might get bland throw in some nuts, cook some chicken in olive oil etc. Try and substitute at least one beef patty for a chicken breast. For meal two why not change it to 2-4 slices of whole wheat toast, 2 tbsp peanut butter and a 500ml of milk? Add some veggies somewhere in there too, they are not filling and are good for you.
Looks better than what most people come up with their first time.

I've never heard of a rule of thumb for fat...I'll look into that. I had always looked at the total Cal intake for the day, and limited the fat to 30% (or less) of this.
So for 2000 Cal, your fat should not be over 67g daily.
If you are on keto, then of course this will change...but for most people who aren't on keto, the recommendation is a 40/40/20 while cutting (this seems to be the golden ratio around here). That's only 20% of calories from fat, and at 2000 Cal, this is only 44g of fat.
To be this clean on a cut and consume 80g of fat, you need to eat 3600 Cal daily. If you are cutting, and eating 3600 Cal daily, I hope you are over 300lbs...
Again, this all goes back to the OP's goals. We need more info before we can give really sound advice. What is the goal. What is the starting point?Mark these words in the annals (no homo) of bodybuilding.com.

Hi.
I'm doing a cutting diet. THe only carbs I get in are my first to meals, or protein shakes. I blend the oats with the shake. so I'm getting about 320 calories on Carbs alone...
800 Calories in Protein, total.
800 calories in Fat.
And a little bit in Carbs.
Reason is, when I am sort of doing a semi keto diet. Keeping the carbs low and protein/fat calories high.
If I eat Hardboiled eggs, I do not include peanutbutter at the end of the day.

"The premise of the diet is high protein (about 1- 1 1/2 gram per pound), moderate fat (about 1/2 g per lb) and low low carbs (no direct sources of carbs). During this diet, the brain goes into ketosis (it uses ketone bodies for energy-- fats) and thus the energy requirements by the body can almost all be supplied by fats (which you'll be taking in plenty of). The only activity that uses carbs will be the weight workout which may use 40grams per workout. You will get these 40g indirectly through the foods you'll be eating. As a backup, the cheat meal you'll be having once per week will provide a storehouse of glycogen (glucose) in case of emergency. So, you see, very little gluconeogenesis in the liver will be occurring. If we keep cortisol low (by restricting STIMULANTS) we'll ensure that muscle is spared!"
No direct sources of carbs in a keto diet. Can't go into a semi ketosis state. My AAEFX Log

I believe there is fiber in oatmeal, but I am not sure. Why more varied sources of protein.. I have 3... Whey, Fish, Ground Beef.. I even eat Steak sometimes. Is there a special purpose for needing 4+ different types of protein? Well technically, if you include the protein in Oatmeal and Peanutbutter, that would be 5 Different sources of protein. Are you suggesting I have 6 or 7?
I do not eat fruit to keep my insulin levels low, in fact, my diet has zero sugar. I am going for a cut. Some say you need Sugars PWO but I have found this not really necessary. Despite that, I usually get sugars from the small amount of ketchup or steak sauce I use on proteins.Last edited by Dhampir; 10-30-2009 at 02:54 PM.

I see. I meant Semi-ketosis as in, Low Carbs. My diet was originally planed 40/40/20 - I took out the Carbs for the last 3 meals, as the cutting phase slows down. Eventually, to acheive maximum results, I will cut out all carbs completely, going into a full "Ketosis"
Thats what I meant by Semi-ketosis. Or should I have said, a "Near Ketosis" diet..
Excellent explanation though.
