a^2 + b^2 = c^2. Pythagorean theorem for right triangles.

I can't read what the degree says on the right. But you can probably use sin 29 = x/(x+4) and/or cos (whateverthatsays) = x/x+4.

3) For the third one use the fact that all three degrees in a triangle have to equal 180, and then look up the side lengths for special triangles (45-45-90 and 30-60-90) to figure that out.

the amplitude is 3 - the number that is multiplied by the function is the amplitude

period is 2pi/b so in this case, pi is the period

edit: phase shift is -pi divided by 2.

if i graph the cosign of 2x i can find where the asymptotes are and that gives me the endpoints of the secant, but the graph is shifted down to negative 2 so the secant wont cross the x axis at the assymptote.. idk what the fuk is going on!!

0=-5t^2+12t+1
quadratic formula up in this mother, t=2.481

Balloon at 2.5m, h=2.5 plug in and solve
2.5=-5t^2+12t+1 (=) -5t^2+12t-1.5=0

my thesis is "The availability of affordable housing is decreasing. Our government needs to increase the amounts of affordable housing in our communities in order to reduce poverty levels around the country."

I'd disagree with your thesis. The cause of poverty is the fact that people try to buy houses they cannot afford. Then when the times are tight they can no longer afford their houses and lose everything. There are plent of opportunities to get affordable housing, but greed makes people want more than they can afford.

The reliance on the government beginning during the Great Depression has only increased since then, and is the reason why we are in so much economic trouble today.

and the reason we are in so much trouble today is the deregulation of banking that went on durring the bush administration which led to lenders pushing morgages down the amercan peoples throats, then those loans were imediatly sold to a bigger bank who buys debt.

when those bad loans go bad the big company that buys debt fails but the problem is , so much of our countries assets are owned by these companys that it becomes hazardous to the economy as a whole to let them go under which is why fanny mae and freddie mac got bail outs

if government haddent intervened there our economy would already be gone

Some places you are correct, the fact you say the global rescission/depression is clearly banks fault has two sides, yes banks were irresponsible giving out mortgage rates that were improbable to be repaid is there doing, but if legislative power was put in place to stop this, like now,mortgage repayments would not of crashed, often money was spent by American public when they believed they had money/equity in the property, when repayments weren't made by others, housing market crashed, so the money they believed to be in there property wasn't there but the had spent their equity already, this led to more and more repayments not being made leaving banks with huge sums of debt as the money technically never existed to start with, then due to the debt house reposition rapidly came apparent. it was a combination of factors that have put us in the situation we are in now.
