Squatting is always the limiting factor in the clean for me. I read somewhere that for someone with efficient technique, they should be able to clean their front squat 3 rep max and this is exactly true for me, however I can't catch the clean on it, I can only do it from a dead stop from the bottom.
On another topic, who here does jerks from behind the neck? I alternate my jerk assistance work by doing them from the front one week and the back the next. Also what are your front/back jerk ratios like? I can do 130/140kg so about 8% difference.Strength + Speed = Power
If you never fail, you aren't truly pushing yourself to the limit. If you never push yourself to the limit, how do you know what you're truly capable of?

I would have gone for the jerk, but was at uni gym. They get mad if i drop the weight. In fact they asked me to be more careful putting it down after that clean.
yeah. I need to pick up some basic programming skills before I graduate lol.
AO 2013 or would you still be doing Hockey around next December?

I don't know what I can X3 on FS, it was 320 in summer, so maybe a bit more now. But thats a pretty close estimate on guessing.

I'm @ like 175 now lol. Pizza + alcohol diet for the past 3 months.
Not sure if i'm just fat or 'big' lol. For sure though i'll be <160 after getting down to 10% or so.
Also in some random news i'm still undefeated in armwrestling lifetime. I've beat everyone at my gym including people much stronger. Like ridiculously easy...

Unbelted lifts are starting to catch and overtake all time belted PRs now that I've stopped using a belt at all for any lift. That's good, and it feels like I can make a lot more progress without using it. Coach is definitely right to emphasize midsection strength.
