(serious)
My leg day was 2 days ago. I didn't warm up my calves before hitting them at the end of my leg workout because I figured they'd be good to go as I had already been working the thighs for about 30 mins. I hit them hard for about 10 mins and I forgot to stretch them after....
Yesterday my calves were slightly sore, nothing major. Today I can't walk. You know that feeling you get when you wake up and your calves are tensed up and it feels like they're being stabbed? That's how they both feel. The calves are hard to the touch, even when relaxed, like they're inflamed.
What would be best? A warm bath? Cold shower? Is there a possibility I tore my calve muscles?

Mine haven't felt like that in a long time. I would just suck it up, maybe take some kind of painkiller, eat... Probably take a warm shower, too.

This happened to me a few months ago... Couldn't put any weight on my feet for about 3 days... It was miserable. I took lots of pain killers, prescription muscle relaxers, and prescription ibuprofen, but it didn't help at all really. Get a band or something and use it to help stretch a lot. It'll hurt like hell, but it will help.

three days?!?!? FUUUUUUU
I hope mine doesn't last as long. This isn't a "buck it out" type of deal. I work 9 hours a day, every day this week. I worked all day today hobbling around like a ****ing gimped retard... I wish to not repeat this tomorrow. I guess i'll try a bath, which I haven't had for a couple years

I'm having the same thing right now for the second time this week, I been getting up the steps on my hands and walking just on front of foot from doing 150 calf raises, I doubt you tore a muscle because it's on both your legs, I was kinda worried about mine too it seems so unnatural .. probly just DOMs

After 24 hours I think heat is what you need. Hot bath and some light stretching.

day 2
Tried for the first time the 8x8 workout on Friday and havent been walking properly for the last 2 days. If I am standing for a long time, it's fine, but once I sit down and stand up again, I gimp around! ! It hurts soooooo badly!! Tried to stretch it many times a day and even massage myself.. it feels swollen and hurts even to touch them... hope the pain doesn't last long!!
