Assault is Muscle Pharm's entry into the pre-workout craze. How many times have we seen company's take crap loads of caffeine, tyrosine, nitric-oxide, mix it all together and call it a revolutionary new pre-workout formula? Countless. So can Assault distinguish itself from the rest of the pack? Lets find out.

Initial Impressions: The packaging and marketing were all very impressive; and I felt the asking price of 44.99 was fair as well. I was quite shocked when I found out the product only contained 125mg of caffeine, but I was determined to thoroughly try out the product before I formed an opinion.

Energy/focus - 9.0/10: Muscle pharm Assault delivers a smooth, clean, continuous flow of energy into your system. I was very impressed. Other products I've tried such as NO-Xplode pale in comparison to this. The focus was top-notch as well. I was able to contract harder and utilize mind-muscle connection far better. I felt vibrant, alive, and motivated.

Strength/endurance - 9.5/10: In short, I was lifting more weight with more reps than ever before. I was quite amazed. At the end of some ball busting workouts I felt I could keep going -- a testament to the effectiveness of Assault.

Pump - 9.5/10: The pumps were fierce. These were no normal pumps either; the pumps I got from NO-Xplode felt like my muscles were inflated with air, much like a balloon. The pumps I attained from Assault were hard, thick, and dense...like a rock. The latter, as you can imagine, was far more satisfying.

Final Verdict - 9.3/10: Muscle Pharm Assault is legit -- no ifs, ands, and buts about it. This is one stellar pre-workout formula that won't disappoint.

I've been using assault as well for the last couple of weeks and it works wonders, Im highly impressed with it, i havent tried no-xplod yet but i will be, also im not taking any post workouts with assault but am thinking of trying cell mass? any segestions on if this will work well or not? and what are you taking with assault??

Another satisfied Assault user! I enjoy the hell out of Assault too. FYI...Your strength and endurance was most likely due to my favorite substance in the formula...Suma Root! The stuff works. One last thing...if you run Assault again...stack it with RPM. Trust me...you'll enjoy it.

Hell yeah, the profile in Assault, unlike other similar products, are designed to have an increasing effect as levels are built up in the body....unlike other products that you end up needing 3 scoops by the end of teh tub because its effects diminish!

Assault is great i must say. Friend got me onto it and im almost through my first tub. Kinda sad actually i don't want it to end. I recommend it to everyone

I was interested in tryin the musclepharm's assault but i am currently taking No xplode and this stuff gives me horrible side effects , my stomach has never felt worse. Does Musclepharm's assault have the same problems?

How does Assault compare to Jack3d?

I'm on Jack3d right now, it's my first pre-workout supplement, so I was wondering if anyone could compare the both of them for me. i'm liking Jack3d but I really wanna try Assault.

I can't recall seeing any complaints of stomach issues...

i used jack3d for the past couple months, loved it, have no complaints, but out of curiousity i decided to try assault, got really good reviews, i just assault in the mail and im starting it soon, ill be sure to keep you posted about it

only reason I refuse to try assault is because they don't have any samples on the bb.com website, so I'll just stick with my jack3d

yeah, I have never seen or heard of any stomach issues related to Assault.

Used to be an avid NO Explode fan, until I tried Assault and I have never turned back. Clean energy, great energy and satmina, and the strength I get from Assault is a huge plus.

FYI: The new version with con-crete is a great addition.

question for anyone who's taken Watermelon Assault and Watermelon N.O Xplode 2.0. I was a n00b and bought the N.O. without doing a lot of research, I'm up to 2 scoops, which is fine. But the problem for me is the taste is so strong, I end up using about 24oz's of water for 2 scoops. When I took Jack3d I used 2 scoops and much less water, I know their scoop size is tiny compared to Xplode though. I would like to be able to use 8-12oz of water for 2 scoops and not have it punching me in the head with taste. Is Assault less harsh? I'm not sure how to describe N.O. other than harsh, I find it sweet, but it's definitely not overly sweet. It's just kind of over powering to me. When I run out I'll buy Assault because of the positive reviews I see on here, oh, and MP absolutely killed it with their new labels.

It was a strong for me also but I got used to the taste.

Assault was the first pre workout I've taken, and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Tried Black Powder and Neurocore after, and fairly dissatisfied with each (for diverse reasons). Perhaps it's time for me to make my way back to MP Assault.

I tried it today and I'd say it was an average preworkout. I didn't have as much energy as with other preworkouts, but the pump was much better. Also my skin felt tingly. I heard it's from the beta alinine in it.

1 last question, since the new Assault is a different formula, does it taste close to the same as the previous version of it? I read nothing but good things about the Green Apple, but I'm wondering if I order it will it taste a lot different. I bought a tub of N.O. Xplode 2.0 and honestly I'm not noticing much of anything out of it so I'm looking for a new pre-workout

Along with new additions to the formula, the taste is IMO at its best yet

Ive had the pleasure of trying blue razz and raspberry lemonade versions of (OLD VERSION) assault, and recently MP hooked me up with the (NEW VERSION) mini tub of orange mango. The scoop is huge, but I like this because when it says its 8 servings its 8 servings unlike others where you have to take 2-3 scoops and 30 servings suddenly turns into 10. Great energy, the BA tingles lasted for hours, most of my workouts are 1 1/2-2 hours and my energy and focus are the same at the end of the workout as they were when i walked in the door to the gym. Ive tried other PWOs and quite frankly ive have been disappointed in most. MP has set the standard for all PWOs.

I got to say that I read alot of great reviews on assult so I ordered it and I loved the taste, but it made me very very dizzy after reps. It made me very hot and I started to have panic attacks because of this stuff. could be that it was just a little to powerful for me. I still think its good stuff just it is not for me.

Hey just wanted to ask, does the 5g creatine in it is enought?
or do you take another 5g after the workout? as far as i know its better to take creatine immidietly after the workout and not before.
